I was wondering what you guys thought about doing a weekly coaches poll, similar to how it's done in college. Basically, one member from each team submits a ranking to me via PM, and when all the votes are in, I'll tally them based on points and submit a list for everyone. We can do it per conference, or both in one(my preference, but more work for everybody).
The rules would be:
1) One list per team
2) Each team must be listed once, and only once.
3)Points are awarded in a reverse point scale(10,9,8,7, etc)
I was thinking about doing a top 16. Having you all submit a list of 16 each week and the points would be 16,15,14, etc. This way I can do a "Also Receiving Votes" category as well. It doesn't matter, we can do all 32, 25, 20, 16, 10 etc. It doesn't matter how often we do it. We can do it after every game, every other, every four: I'll be flexible here. Let me know what you guys think and we can get started on a preseason poll.
