Same result.. but a much better game
It helped a lot having a good team to scrimmage and test our new offense on.

btw, MB here is how our games have gone
80-24 MB (scrimmage)
59-28 MB (championship)
22-16 MB (scrimmage)
I think we would have beat you guys this time if we kept our offense from last season. But is is just a scrimmage either way. Good game if you want to watch it too!

Yeah, kinda boring unless you like a lot of not scoring

We use the old basic tactics for this game just to see how they still worked ... just let the CPU's pick the plays based off our % ... I'd say the CPU's play calling sucks!

The lack of passing and and the QB kneels at the end game gives me the sneaking suspicion that it wasn't basic playcalling. Just saying

actually we used the same Defensive AI as in the championship game. i guess it still works, and its actually getting more effective since you guys scored 6 fewer points this go around. it just goes to show how much of a coinflip the AI really is....

lol, if you didn't change anything i how can it be more effective?
We were just trying a new offense (with ALOT deep throws) but with borts new changes our QB ignored the deep open guys and threw the underneath routes.. we got cheated on a couple TDs I think..
But I am sure you guys did too as he didn't make it just against the Charlotte 49ers, haha

Well ur score went down by 6 points from the last time we faced u, so I would say the same D was more effective. But like u said, u guys changed things up to try and see what Borts changes would do in a game so I would say the "effectiveness" of an old strategy had more to do with ur experimenting than anything. All I know is we're gonna have our hands full when we play u guys in the regular season.

haha, goes to show how busy i've been lately. i haven't looked at the schedule or the AI, i'm gonna have a lot of catching up to do.

oh well, maybe we can get a real scrimage against you guys at some point? no "experimenting" or anything like that, just a straight rematch of last seasons championship. i think that would be fun...

yeah, i would be down for that at the end of the season.. lol, i dont wanna have to game plan for two games in one week
