Welcome my fine friends of the APL to another chapter of great logic from myself SHEVEGAS.
It seems we have many new teams here in the Elephant Conference, the teams still remaining from day 1 with their original names:
Durban Donkeys
Babylon Bombshells
Cairo Emperors
and the Angola Blood Diamonds
Pretty sad out of 16 teams only these 4 remain.

Along with the start of a new offseason brings the joy of seeing all the new AAA teams singing songs of ass kicking they will do to all of the Pro teams......Some have in the past (TLGOT) Most have failed, and some have quit (Fight Club)....What will come in season 7?????

Here at the Mental Ward (ABD) we had very few new players join, but players who already are very active on our forums and look forward to the battle that will happen shortly. I will say, I believe this will be a very competitive season.....I look forward to meeting the new owners and players, and also continuing the rivalry with many....Always remember in the words of the great T.O.......Hate me all you want, but I sure love me some me!

I've been looking at the team list as well.
The only reason Babylon is #2 in Elephant on the League homepage now is our team ID#.

Only 2 teams got relegated every season by default, but how many sold their teams already?
There are only so few of the original teams left. It's just sad to see.

Don't get me wrong, I like the teams who got promoted here. When they beat us, they beat us fair and square, at least on the gameplanning side.
We don't have the luxury of winning our way from AA to PRO and get RICH with a full fan support and well-finished stadium.
In fact, our fan supports are still shaky, and we're still 1 section short of a full stadium in our Season #5.
We just got stationed here because my waiting list # was too small at the time.
Some people never intend to make up for their mistakes. They just keep charging people.

To me, it's not a very fun league or conference as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise, I'll be able to see more familiar faces here every season.
Now with all the new faces, I just feel strange, and I'm just a stranger in this league.
So, everyone please pardon me if I'm not as active or as friendly on League forum. I have other friends I would like to pay more attention to.

Anyway, let me end this rant of mine with this:

Please don't talk trash to me, because I've got the THICK SKIN.

Of the original 16 in Elephant? Well the leagues been around 4 seasons x 2 teams per season = 8 teams demoted. 5 original teams still around so that means 3 of the original 16 got sold.

I noticed angola has no trophies... and if i remeber correctly... AFRICA AA, AFRICA AAA, and AFRICA PRO were all created at the same time, so that means you were just randomly placed in there. so you didn't earn your spot into pro anyway. So by my calculations.... YOU have ZERO championships in 4 Seasons... too bad man


Soooo i did a little independent research... just for the hell of it and I found the history of your wonderful team

wait.... have you only made the playoffs once? in season 3? and as more teams got added you have never made the playoffs since? you have got to be joking...

oh nvm. you made it in season 6 too right. I was a little worried but you guys have a 50% percent success rate

It's an interesting calculation. I tried to do it when I post, but I gave up.
You need to think this way: They sold their teams BEFORE they got demoted. The new owners sold their teams they took over as well. And then repeat. For how many times, I don't know and can't remember.

The end result is not 3, I can tell you that.

16 teams originally.

5 of those teams are still here.

Which means 11 teams are gone.

8 of those teams were demoted standard over 4 seasons - regardless of whether they sold or not.

3 teams left over that were sold back

Not sure what's so interesting about that calculation.

More than 2 teams got demoted since last season.
You didn't put into consideration that some strong teams sold their teams, and that's the only reason they're gone in the next season.
Also, when a team was sold, the new owner may have sold it again after he took over.

I said it's interesting only because I was thinking about similar things, and it's not simple math like 16 - 5 = 11, 11 - 8 = 3.

I just realize this calculation is from someone who's with USAORG since Season 3 Day 1. I'm sure someone from USAORG since Season 3 Day 1 can understand more than that, and maybe you don't mean what you're saying.

This conversation about this calculation is over to me. Please don't spread incorrect information or help spread it.

And who cares if a new owner sold the team after getting demoted? They're not in APL anymore so it's irrelevant.

Fact 1....We started APL in season 3 with 16 Elephant Conference Teams...2 have to get demoted...Meaning we have 14 original.....Season 4 we have the 14 original and 2 from AAA....Now just because 2 more teams get demoted that year, it does not automatically mean those 2 teams have to come from the orignal 14.....The new AAA teams could have been demoted...So whoever says 4 seasons times 2 teams equal 8 orignal pros got demoted, as no flippin clue.

#2- Gay Be Me Danielson- How many Pro trophies do you have? So I have been in the Pro's for 4 seasons....Based on the luck of the waiting list....So big shot I will keep an eye on how many championships the Knight Riders have after 4 seasons in the APL....Not trying to sound cocky, but BBB, A, AA,AAA don't mean shit to me......I am proud to have made the playoffs2/4 seasons in the APL, and I might never win a chapionship...but I will always fight to stay in the APL, and I would think most people, a side from LOL, and TLGOT know that the ABD will always bring a fight.

So you have 4 seasons to win a chapionship, if you do great, but I bet you won't. Then you will be in the same boat as the ABD.....Heck if I wanted to win a chapionship at a crap level I could send all of my guys over to Lorenzo's team....By the way what a great name for his team.

ABD may surprise you, they aren't "elite" like LOL/TLGoT but they can bring it.
