God I'm Bored today...here are my quick rankings for Elephant based on team level, and what I know about the teams, and the level that teams were playing at the end of the season.

After looking through this here are a few observations

1. If the Crocs try, there are 15 teams that can make the playoffs, if they continue tanking like they did toward the end of last season, then 14 teams have a shot.

2. I think BBE is a clear cut #1

3. #2 -8 are all pretty interchangeable if you ask me. They can all beat each other in any given game. Hell 2-14 could be pretty interchangeable depending on what teams do with their AI.

4. Overall this should be a pretty competitive season 2-14.

6. Iowa
7. Terror
8. Cairo
9. Magic
10. Tigers
11. Eagles
12. Texans
13. Nightmares
14. Necromances

Looks pretty good, actually. Maybe the Magic are a little low, but again, looks pretty good. Of course, the Drunks and Leathernecks may have something to say abut their positions, but whatever. Thats why we - well, you - play the games.

Assuming nobody guts, which I hope doesn't happen, then the rankings could turn out almost any way. I think that how teams manage their tactics will make a huge difference and in the end be the deciding factor. Teams that got by in the past by having higher level players will be in for a surprise.

That is true to a certain extent, but please take into account that levels do mean something and you cant ALWAYS develop a gameplan that evens out level deficiencies. When everything is equal, including the gameplan, the level matchup will be significant. I think some teams will still get by with just outleveling other teams, although to some extent, you're correct in your conclusion that some will be in for a surprise.

But, in a way that's good. It makes the better team on paper showcase it on the field and the "lesser" team come up with bitchin gameplans that have already been proven successful. While Im not saying anything thats new, it will certainly make for some entertaining moments in Season 7.
