Okay, with what I've whitnessed last season, I'd like to bring out my (surely miserable and terribly wrong) predictions:

For the Alpha Conference I predict Southriding, London, London, the Reapers and John Deere to be up for the crown. Surprises might come from Warsaw, Dublin, Kilkenny and Glastonbury.

No explanations, because I want all of you to wonder what goes on in my messed up mind.

I think in Zeta I will narrow it down to 3 top teams: Huskies, Sayreville, Munich. But I would predict the Jokers, Naples, Valencia and Tranmere very strong too.

I think we will have one tough and close season and there are many teams that can surprise us in a good way. I sure hope you will enjoy it and that the forums buzz.

Many teams I did not mention are still strong in my oppinion, I think this will be a season, especially in Zeta, where 2 or 3 teams will stand at top and only 1 or 2 will really perform badly, the rest goes from game to game with toe-to-toe matchups.

Zeta is like that every year. except usually only 1 or 2 on top. just dont count out the Paladins, that would certainly be a mistake. we woulda been in the Zeta Championship game if it wasnt for an O-AI overlook

I doubt we'll be as strong unless we get lucky in free agency. I have several players that I'm not sure are returning or not. Gawd I hate recruiting so much. It's like going to the proctologist but the proctologist doesn't reject you repeatedly.

I think a lot of it is going to be if Bort changed the AI, and how veteran skills effect the sim. Who ever figures those out first is going to be on the fast track to a title.

Thanks for the thoughts on Zeta and I hope Valencia can live up to be a surprise team this season. Either way will be fun to compete week in and week out.

Thanks for the love Taluien, but I really would be happy just competing well this year.

I've recruited a few guys though, and hopefully we can be as successful as you predict.

Munich, you say? http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=225753
Huskies, you say? http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=225699

And no mention of Vatican (who I think will finish top 3)?

Top 5, in no particular order will be: Titans, Vatican, Sayreville, Munich and Buffalo.
Speaking of Buffalo...we have ourselves a copycat team! http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6364

LOL Agreed! - For those in Alpha, anyone overlooking Transylvania is in for a really nasty surprise! That is a mistake the Reapers will NOT be making, as we are well aware of the Bloodsuckers prowess. Still pertaining to Alpha, if last season is any indicator, Southriding has to be considered "the team to beat," as they dominated damn near everyone last season & I still haven't figured out how they lost to IKK in the playoffs.

Hey guys, I said it would be my thoughts, WITHOUT explanations. I really am not the Oracle of Delphi. And it was just a quick shooting at those who I knew to go strong. Yes I forgot the Buffalos, but other than that, any error that may or may not come is totally not in the stars I was looking at. (Not hard, because I was looking at my monitor, no stars there. Damn, I need a monitor a bit more galactic.)

I don't even care that much right now about winning, even though I love to be competitive but I'll win with less. This might even be my last season with this team. I'm done recruiting every season for a lot of people that don't buy into what we're doing, don't post on forums and don't give me any feedback. Those on my team that do I really hold in high regard. I didn't want to even get promoted without a championship. I had a shot but it was a bunch of ringers that came in and took it. It's just not worth the effort unless I get agents that contribute and that's hard to find.

I've already talked to a few people about it. I'm probably going to start a slow build team with just a few dedicated people so I don't have to deal with recruiting. I offer better schemes and more money but still lose out on the few good players out there.

That's my 2 cents...
