I will start off with this is purely for fun only and just to give people something to have fun with while waiting on recruits to respond or to not respond etc and that this can change day to day seeing as how most rosters are not done with the new teams that moved up and a few key additions could change their ranking.
Lion
1. Band of Brothers - Very good team who almost beat the League Champ last season
2. Warriors of Anubis - Second season here made some noise last season by upsetting the #3 team Red Sea Wave and edge them here because of that win.
3. Red Sea Wave - Very good team who could easily win it all.
4. Freetown Palookas - Can their offense take them further this season?
5. Côte d'Ivoire Rebels - Strong team who has a shiny gold trophy from A1 who I expect to make some noise this season.
6. Zulu Death Warriors - Reigning A2 Champ
7. Congo Lions - Good looking team here should be fighting for a playoff spot
8. Carthaginian War Elephants - Another good team who has done some recruiting and should be a playoff contender as well.
9. The Sierra Leone Syndicate - Good team could easily be anywhere from 4-8 and with a little more recruiting would jump CWE.
10. African Fire - This team could go either way but I think they just miss the playoffs, too many good new teams.
11. Morocco Loco Siroccos - Should just miss the playoffs this season but still a good team and wouldnt be shocked to see them pull an upset or two.
12. Burundi Hutu - A team that almost folded giving it another shot but like the Fire could get caught in a storm of new teams that are hungry to prove themselves.
13. Madagascar Black Mambas - Not really sure what to think about this team just yet.
14. Atlantic Blue Jays - Could be an ugly season for the Jays with a roster thats looking bare.
15. Kamikaze - Should have been moved down, what a waste.
16. Congo gorrillas - See above.
Elephant - Other than #1 the top few teams are all scary close IMO.
1. Cairo Crocodiles - Playoff team from last season and have the higher levels across the board and also beat Dakar in their one meeting so until Dakar can prove otherwise this is the team to beat.
2. Dakar Dragons - Playoff team from last season and was on the verge of promotion. Can Dakar actually put it together finally? I hope so.
3. Mamelodi Night Runners - Great team and from the looks of their roster getting better each passing moment and the A2 Elephant Champ.
4. Lome Laos - Reigning A1 Elephant Champ, very good team.
5. Swaziland Semnikati - Good team who would argue they are better than any of the new teams since they were here before them. Who am i to disagree other than the two trophy holders.
6. Sons of Anubis - Good looking team making alot of moves in the offseason could easily jump a few spots when roster moves are done.
7. Tanzanian Thunderhawks - Tough defensive team.
8. AfricanAZ Dark Knights - Deep playoff run gets them here and in the mess of teams who will duke it out for a playoff spot.
9. Congo Silver backs - A mess in this area of teams but their recruiting is looking good.
10. Senegal Slayers - Another team in a jumbled middle of the pack group of teams.
11. Rhodesia Ratels - See above.
12. Mogadishu Outlaws - See above
13. Masaai Death Tribe - Sorry A-Wad but you got some work to do this season.
14 - 16 does anyone care?
Again this is all for fun and alot can change with the offseason acquisitions being made with each team. Lion looks to be the stronger conference again and will be a battle from top to close to the bottom anyway. Elephant is going to be a mess this season and to be honest any team from 1-7 could take home the trophy.
Feel free to break it down and spin it however i just was bored at lunch and went through the conferences just to give us some discussion and help the teams get to know each other a little better.
