#1 Waco Davidians at #6 Las Vegas Stunners

Many hailed Oakland as the last legitimate chance for Waco to lose - but those people probably overlooked Las vegas. With a talented lineup (presumably through some recent additions) and home field advantage, Waco's trip to Stunners Stadium might be their toughest challenge yet. Waco's vaunted defense faces its first legitimate rushing team this season - Vegas's dynamic duo of Bobby Loostin and BigDaddy123, and whether or not the untested Davidian linebacking crew is up to the task remains to be seen.

#4 Hartford Hellhounds vs. #2 Denver Pirates

Another matchup of very strong teams. Denver gained respect around the league after nearly knocking off Waco in week 2, and they have the league's most efficient passing attack led by QB Hayden Fry. This week they travel to Hartford to face off with a Hellhounds defense that is talented but thus far has appeared vulnerable to the pass. Portland QB Jonny Danger torched them to the tune of 350 yards in an upset bid that fell just short, followed a week later by Hugh Laurie's surgical 300 yd, 3 td performance. However, Hartford has since then pitched a pair of shutouts to subpar teams, and should have some of its confidence back on defense. An interesting point of contention in this matchup will be whether or not Denver DT Tubby Tank can disrupt Hartford's running game, led by Jon Joseph.

#9 New Brunswick n00bs at #13 RGB Berzerk

This game will be a battle of running backs. RGB's Johnny Awooga and New Brunswick's Greg Martin are used to putting their teams on their backs, and this contest will be no different. Although RGB has slightly more passing talent, that hasn't translated into points so far this season - they've only scored more than 10 in one game, a 35-0 beating of the Ambridge CPUs. New Brunswick, on the other hand, has been able to remain competitive this season, largely on the strength of Martin and an underrated Defense. RGB is playing at home, but New Brunswick has played well on the road against tougher teams, and will not be intimidated. Incidentally, in a league full of underachieving kickers, New Brunswick kicker David Allison has been a bright spot for his team. Look for a satisfying win for n00bs owner scarletmbb here.

#11 Portland Hitmen at #16 Ambridge Bridgade

Don't be fooled by Portland's 1-4 record. They've played Denver, Hartford, Oakland, and Vegas - the hardest schedule to date easily - and they nearly upset Hartford in Hartford. Their wide open aerial assault has seen mixed results, but they Jonny Danger and the gang must be licking their chops at the sight of the Ambridge Automatons. The Bridgade's CPU laden lineup has been manhandled all season, and has been held scoreless in 3 straight games. Enter a tired, beaten, and downtrodden Portland defense which is tired of being a punch line and an angry QB who knows his 1-4 team is better than it looks, and the stage is set for an epic massacre here. Look for the Ambridge owner to look to sell his team fairly soon.

#10 Scottsdale Sun Demons vs #8 Spicewood Longhorns

The Longhorns travel to Scottsdale high off an emotional home victory over Bel Air. They now have a swagger that they didn't have before, secure in the knowledge that their team is on the rise. Scottsdale disposed of RGB this week in an easy if not completely convincing win. Although they won handily, they did give up a safety to one of the league's worst defenses, and they are coming up against a team that is high on confidence after holding the ravenous Beardogs to just 9 points. Still, on paper these two teams are evenly matched, and should create an interesting contest.

#15 Grand Haven Mist at #3 Oakland Wizards

Grand Haven is a team in turmoil. There is word out that they have traded Ricky Cannon, an underachiever at QB and a disruptive locker room presence, along with 2 of his buddies. Unless they bring in some serious whales, it is difficult to see Grand Haven competing with Oakland. The Wizards recovered from their trip to Waco by feasting on Clam, and their defense was back in full flow, holding Chicago to a paltry 63 yards of total offense. Oakland will look to score early and often - and don't expect Grand Haven to score much at all.

Bel Air is an angry football team following its upset at Spicewood. Dallas could be the league's hottest team following its upset of Las Vegas and it's annihilation of Ambridge. This will be a fierce battle between two very motivated teams. Bel Air has one of the league's best backs in Beard OG, and he'll be looking to run wild against Dallas's above average front 7. Look for a close, hotly contested game it what may be the best game this week. Bel Air's edge in the trenches may be the deciding factor here.

#12 Miami Cyclones vs #14 Chicago Clams

Miami's trip to Waco was a rough one, so they will welcome the sight of the Chicago Clams pulling into The Orange & Green Bowl. The Clams have gone three straight games without scoring a point after barely scraping passed downtrodden Grand Haven - a welcome sight after the Davidians offense rolled up 400 yards and 35 points this week. However, looks can be misleading. Chicago has faced the troika of Hartford, Denver, and Oakland in those three games. The fact remains, however, that the Clams don't strike fear into the hearts of many of these teams, and the Cyclones will be confident of their chances - especially
considering their considerable advantage on the offensive line.

77-0 For Oakland? Nah we will get 77 maybe we will hit 40 but not built for that high score. LOL

Eh... Grand Haven is having it rough right now - they've traded talent for money in order to start the rebuilding process early, so I think you guys really could score some points. But yeah 77 might be excessive.

I would have never thought we would have scored 70 today either.

Well I don't think we will let it get to outta hand we are good sportsmen. LOL

The ironic thing was, is that we (Dallas) started some of the back-ups that were close in level to the starters to get some XP, but when the game started to get out of control, the sim started to play the back-ups more which happened to be some of the normal starters.

Sadly our star Running back we got through a trade Bobby Loostin his contract runs out on day 9 so im pretty sure he'll be gone before our game. We werent able to sign him to a longer deal so our chances of the big upset diminish significantly.

disagree with the breakdown of the Dline in scottsdale v. spicewood, seems the overall quality is slightly better on the scottsdale side with better starting DEs and even starting DTs and a much better back up DT than what spicewood can bring to the table(nothing but CPU back ups on the interior of the Dline) while that might not matter in the overall scheme of things I would say slight edge Scottsdale on the Dline

There are quite a few of the upper echelon teams that do not have depth. It is going to be interesting to see if they hurts them later into the season.

One of the best D's in the league and JJ only has 460 yds in 5 games, he's just going to decide to explode this week? I'd like to see that.
