To those who don't know, the Caps and Wackers finally scheduled a showdown.

You guys are of course a great team, and you are certainly moving up while we continued our tradition of second round exits.

But, just when you thought losing the championship was the only bad news you'd have all day...

Meh, it's just a game, but I would be lying if I said I didn't want to win.

It was the swan song for my OC, so I'm mostly glad he got the win.

good for you guys, but quite truthfully, you were aware that we would be using the exact same game plans as we used in the game we played against ISB since admerylous was at the caps/flyers game. it was stated. but take your win. we'll take our trophy, and maybe see you in a couple seasons.

You know if you are happy with a 2nd place trophy then good for you. The Caps suck and game plan or not you would lose to the Wackers. What a worthless team. Just always lucky enough to be on the little kids side of the fence playing in the 2 hand touch league. When you move up I hope you guys get it as easy for the 3rd straight league or else your pride will take a big slap in the face. You suck Caps.

That is a solid point. However I seem to remember a comment from someone about being able to thrash us with basic AI settings.

our 2nd place trophy is better than you're 10th place tro...oh, wait, you don't get one of those, do you?

walla walla is a good team, but we announced that we'd be using the exact same settings and you had 4 hours to analyze the championship game and plan accordingly. to only beat us by 2 doesn't say too much about your game planning skills. but congrats anyways, you beat a team that didn't even scout you by 2. you're sure to be the cream of the crop next year.

Again, I understand. And hell I even told Kono before hand that I understood it was on a day where you had a much bigger fish to fry.

I won't go into it, but there is a lot of irony involved in us winning this scrimmage. Those who know the history need not be reminded.

w/r/t #2 - We might promote, and actually have a good shot. We made it to the second round, so we get to go before Nevada and San Francisco (regardless of if they fold), and also winning both our interconference scrimmages.

TMW also won both, and are ahead of us due to regular season record, so if only one of us makes it, they would go.

We'll see how it all shakes out.

And yes, we do realize that you were focusing on your title game but its not like we put in hours of game planning. I logged in this morning before going Christmas shopping and realized we had a scrimmage...that was the extent of my defensive game plan.

Listen, if I got upset at how my teams won, I would never enjoy a Vikings game. A win is a win. Congrats on a great season Caps, thanks for the game. Enjoy your tougher competition in a tougher league. I will follow you to your new league board and see how that turns out for you!

PS: I've always loved you...

My team beat the Wackers during the season so that means we are better than the caps too.....LMAO.
