I'm looking to try it with my guy:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1103291

Gonna get max XP and training before using any points at Day 20 though so he stands to have around 80 points by then probably. Anyone ever tried it? I know DE's have freakish Agility now while hardly any linemen have it.

UPDATE: 55 Points saved up so far, which is more than enough to softcap Agility and Blocking, but I'll continue to try and train them up to around 30 before he's forced out onto a real team.

Its hard because I orginally set out for a Strength+Blocking Build, but then switched about a week into it, so atleast he'll have a headstart in strength.

Your idea sucks. You should retire him and never attempt such a build again!

I don't know if anyone has tried it but it could be worth a shot. If it's not successful then at least you tried. If it is successful then you'd have a good OT on your hands. Not much of a downside for either outcome so go for it.

IF i make an OT, thats exactly what i will do
OT with high str low agility = horrible build

Actually slow building an OT like this. Friend is doing same.
Our ultimate goal is to have Agility/Blocking/Strength all be 68+. Agility and Blocking being the first priorities.

I believe its a good idea but I would not exclude str entirely just make it your third area to cap behind blocking and agility. I do believe at some point in the future Str will be more important then it is playing out to be now and you will not want to be extremely low in it.

just like blocking without str is pointless, agility without speed is not gonna work.

Watch the RG and the NT. That RG has less than 25 STR, and the NT has 63.38.

+1
had an OT with, naturally, 75 agi, 50 blocking and 48 str, but his speed was around 14, so i decided to start over and only taking agility to 68 agility and speed to around 40, maybe cap it

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=918398 So far.

6 saved SP atm. Saving them for a strength 2:1 cap though.

Level 11. Hopefully it will work out once I get on a human team.

My plan was/is:

blocking to 60 - CHECK
Agility to 60 - its at 48 atm
Speed to 48
Vision to 30

The beauty is that the build can always be fixed but if it works out, I just saved myself a good 33 some skill points.

How does he handle high str DEs? Get pushed around a lot or does the agility balance it out?
