Just wondering what in GLB world do you have to do to get permabanned? Is there some sort of sim-homocide you have to commit to get this? Or can you just roam freely spewing whatever you want?

Seems like all you have to do is pay your $6 a season and you can get away with anything. Hell, money in the pocket is money in the pocket, and I can understand that given the economy right now.

But what does it take to overstep the boundry's to get permabanned? We have seen racist remarks, we have seen constant trolling, we have seen guys pick on sick girls. Like I said I understand the market is tough and a buck is a buck, but where does GLB draw the line?

It seems to me as long as I pay a few bucks I can say whatever the hell I want. Sure my thread might possibly get locked, and I might even get a one day suspension. But apparently multiple thread locks and multiple suspensions mean nothing.

So for the mods that constantly regulate this forum, please inform me.

Here are a few examples of what folks have been perma banned from GLB for...

1) Identity theft.
2) Player build stealing.
3) Multi accounting.
4) Instigating planned forum riots.
5) Refusal to break on-line "persona" to assist cooperation with the admins.

This is at the admin's discretion though, but we do get the admins involved when we feel that there is enough history to warrant an intentional disregard for rules and unwillingness to cooperate. This includes harassment, verbal abuse, habitual cursing.
3) Instigating planned forum riots.

I wouldn't want anyone to get banned. Not even the Caps. Shit talking is never bad, but they kind of take it tooo far. This is a game. Would be cool if we could just trash talk without getting personal and enjoy the game. I was excited yesterday when the Leggerz won. First game I watch this season. This game is fun and being active on the forums is as well, but this guys really ruin everything. It would be cool if you guys stick to trash talking on just certain threads. Like make a "Trash Talking" thread or something. You guys are annoying.

You know...... forum riot? I'm pretty sure this wasn't planned. Yes kono, you are. Everyone from BBB#3 know that I talk a lot of trash. I've annoyed every owner from BBB#3, but I've never taken it to the extent that you guys take it. This guys make the game feel sour.

I have no idea what it is. This is the only one of these typres of game I play and the only other forum I post on is heavily moderated to the point that 'curse' words are filtered out to something else.

I read the CPL boards and there are guys there that have been banned upwards of 30-40 times now. Without a real threat of permanent banning for multiple offenses, the 2-3 day bans are useless. Hell, they laugh about getting banned.

about a month ago there was a thread that talked about how many times they had been banned and there were a couple guys that were saying 20-25 times. Even if they were exaggerating, 10-15 times is still too many.

Interesting. So, maybe people should realize that GLB is actually gives A LOT of rope and freedom to its users. You don't see anyone getting suspended for cursing when not aimed at someone in a harassing manner.

But instead, Mods are labeld as biased, power hungry, etc.

Liars. They look at suspensions as a badge of honor. Trust me, if you start to get upwards of 10+ you're getting reviewed for perm.

how many times were the not-to-be-mentioned-posters banned before this? and they were only banned once this board started spamming the support lines with complaints.

anyways, you don't need to send me a PM or anything about this, I already got a nasty curse-filled one from another mod. very professional.
