Well, the season started with 32 teams trying to make their way to a title. The 16 game regular season whittled them down to half, and over the course of the last couple days, they've clawed and battled their way to make it to this point. After 3 rounds of battling, Dublin and Valencia still stand at the top of the pile, and the two will battle for the league championship on Saturday!

Road to the championship:

Alpha Champs - Dublin Drunken Monkeys
Regular Season: 15-1, 2nd Seed in Alpha
Round 1: D-Monks 38 - Spaniards 19.
Round 2: D-Monks 30 - Basin City 19.
Round 3: D-Monks 45 - Transylvania 44.

Zeta Champs - Valencia Bats
Regular Season: 16-0, 1st Seed in Zeta
Round 1: Bats 64 - Hamburg 0.
Round 2: Bats 72 - Dublin 0.
Round 3: Bats 24 - Vatican City 23.

Game Preview:
If the conference championship games were any indication of how good these teams are, we are going to have one heck of a title game. The D-Monks, your Alpha champs, make their way to Valencia to see if they can take down the undefeated Zeta champion Bats. First look at this game says your going to have strength on strength going heads up against each other, as the mammoth Valencia O-Line is facing the havoc causing D-Monk D-Line. Who ever wins this battle is going to go a long way in winning their team a title. I think this one however, is going to come down to the other match up. The D-Monk offense led by QB Michael Goodman and RB Brad Theisen, against a very very good Bats defense, that put up 2 shutouts in the playoffs, and only gave up double digits 5 times this season. If the Balanced D-Monk offense can find a way to keep up with the Bats offense, this game will go down to the wire.

Prediction:
Bats over D-Monks (-4)

I disagree. I say, "Having a monster fucking offensive line kills."

And Valencia's line is ALL THAT. Plus, they have the skill position guys to go with it. AND a stout defense.

Besides, those nancy boys over in Alpha can't hang. I think Bats win this one going away.

You to Blackout gonna be a great game. Win or lose it has been a great season for both squads! I remember back in the days of playoff scrimmage games because we both either did not make playoffs or were eliminated early. Now it is our time to shine. Lets make it a good one (not too good for you )

I believe we can do Alpha proud this season and I know the rest of the D-Monks are behind me when I say that we will looking forward to proving that Alpha is the better division this season and overall.
