Looks like the original APL teams are representin!! Three of the final teams are all original.

Kudos to all of the final 8 teams, and major props to the Outlaws (grumble), Knights, Lego's, and Gunfighters.

I'm rooting for the winner of Lion to keep it respectable against the winner of Elephant. The one good thing about losing is that there's no gameplanning for LOL or TLGoT.

Looks like once again the championship is all original APL teams. I think there has only been one non-original APL team make the championship game. The Wood represented the Lion in the title game last season.

Thats a shame about Cape Town, if they stayed around I think they'd still be one of Lions top teams. They were a pretty cool team, hell I tried to bring a couple of my guys there.

Hmm, I'm probably in the minority, but I was never impressed with Cape Town. Yes they kicked our ass twice, but the seemed pretty sloppy. Reminded me of the Shaq, Kobe, Malone, Peyton Lakers, yes they were loaded with talent and looked GREAT on paper, but didn't have the TEAM it took to win it all. That team seemed to just be a bunch of team owners that brought their players together and figured they'd win it all on talent alone, with out game planning and without putting in the time needed to win.

They would lose games they had no business losing because of lack of preparation. When there was a team that they thought might give them a problem the would do better, hence our ass-kickings lol, but did'nt seem to ever put it together.

The teams with a few GM's that bust their butts are the ones that impress me the most. Like TLGoT for example, 1 onwner and 1 GM and kicking butt!! THAT is impressive in my opinion.

Well, when I talked to Paul Kemp a few teams before I was going to join, he told me that he himself really did nothing. It was more a group effort to do whatever people was best.

....or something to that extent.
