For the awards I meant to just do it for the Elephant conference due to the fact that it's hard to compare stats between players that play completely different competition.

AWARDS
MVP:Johnny Valario(Carthage) 333/502 for 66.3% complete, 5086.5yards, 59TDs, 14ints His numbers weren't as great as Joe Montana 16's during the regular season but he earns the MVP on the strength of leading his team to the championship game and his play during the playoffs.

OPOY: John Robert(Freetown) 303rush, 2705.5 yards for 8.9per carry, 38TDs, 74 catches, 1336.5yards, 17TDs and only 5 fumbles (Johnny Valario and Joe Montana 16 were strong candidates for this award as well but it's harder for runningbacks to rack up yards and TDs. John Robert carried the Jayhawks offense all season log with over 4000 combined rushing and receiving yards and 55 total TDs )

DPOY: (DE) A.W.E.S.O.M.E-O 4000(Maine) 146 Tackles, 93 Hurries, 94 Sacks, 1FFum , 1 DefTD (a QBs worst nightmare made many QBs in this conference wake up in cold sweat the week leading up to facing him)

QB of the Year: Joe Montana 16(Cairo) 396/594 for 69.1% complete, 6052yards, 61TDs, 2ints (Lead the leagues first ranked passing attack while throwing 61TDs to only 2ints in 594 attempts)

RB/FB of the Year:John Robert 303rush, 2705.5 yards for 8.9per carry, 38TDs, 74 catches, 1336.5yards, 17TDs and only 5 fumbles this guy lead his teams offense all season long in both rushing and receiving.

WR of the Year: Donald 'Wide Open' Jennings(Casablanca) 98 catches, 1777yards, 26TDs, 9 drops (He had a very nice year and easily lead the conference in receiving TDs)

TE of the Year: Da Ghost(Ethiopian) 69 catches, 1043.5 yards, 9 TDs, 5 drops, 15 pancakes (he played solid all season log for the Food Mongers)

OL of the Year:Ken Shamrock(Casablanca) 138 pancakes, and lead an offensive line that gave up a conference low 13 sacks

DL of the Year: (DE) A.W.E.S.O.M.E-O 4000 146 Tackles, 93 Hurries, 94 Sacks, 1FFum ,
1 DefTD

LB of the Year:MArcus tULLIUS cICERO(Nigerian) 128 Tackles, 3 sacks, 1 int, 6FFum Anchored the middle of the linebacking core for the second place Nigerian Nightmares

CB of the Year: Eric Wright 21(Cairo) 48 tackles, 11 ints, 77 PD, 3 DefTD (this guy was just a playmaker all over the field all season long)

S of the Year: Mobutu Sese Seko(Cairo) 53 tackles, 7 ints, 2 sacks, 3FFum, 1 DefTD (he made plays all over the field this season and was a big time difference maker)

K/P of the Year: Spicey99 McHaggis99(Casablanca) 94 PR, 2093.5 yards, 22.3 avg, 6 TDs (lack of return work hurt Richard Dixon in this one although he was tops in combined kick and punt return TDs )

GM of the Year: Sparx(Casablanca) he has been there since the beginning for Casablanca and is a big part of their success

Owner of the Year: patsfan1281 recruited a roster able to compete after being in a lvl 13 capped league the previous season and then lead them to a home playoff game.

Most Surprising Team: Maine Freeze

Most Disappointing Team: P-Town they have been in the league since it's inception and have yet to make a single playoff game, The Jayhawks were a close second they did do a nice job of pulling it together and making the playoffs though.

Biggest Upset:Mercenaries over Cairo

This is merely for fun and based on opinions and some stats so there is no reason to feel disrespected if your player or one of your teams players were not selected there were not many votes submitted so I had to take those into account and do my best to see who was most deserving of selection while at the same time being as unbiased as possible.

60 tackles? Terrible stat for a CB.....means you left your guy open WAY too much.

Choose the better CB:
CB1 - 60 tackles, 9 INT - 1TD, 48 PD
CB2 - 31 tackles, 8 INT - 3TD, 34 PD

IMO its CB2 who was thrown towards alot less, hence taking his target out of the games a lot more......

DPOY would be Wacko - hands down no contest

Also depends if they played special teams or not. Those tackles shouldn't count.

well if you look at the play by play you would notice that most of my tackles came from off of the runs also have you notice during the playoffs i have only have 1 tackle in both games so you need to look at how those stats look

GM OY-

Owner OY-DarkRogue (Cairo)
D.R. has done an excellent job with the Mummy Warriors over the past years. Including leading his team with a conference best 16-0 season. Followed by a second round exit against Carthage. When D.R. got his team in Season 3, his first year as an owner his team went 10-6! Not many 1st year teams can do that. D.R. has a total record of 55-20 including making the playoffs every year since Season 3. I just wish Cairo can get over that 2nd round hump.

Most Seprising Team-Maine Freeze
One word....WOW. Who would of thought that the new team on the block would go 13-3 in their first season in Africa AA#4. This team came into this league with a purpose. Although they lost in the first round of the playoffs they will improve to get better and be a hassle to face for any team they play.

Most Disapointing Team-Freetown Jayhawks
I actually thought they were in our conference tbh. This team hasn't improved since they came into this league. Season 3 (4-12) Season 4 (10-6) Season 5 (9-7) Season 6 (9-7). No improvment whatsoever. If Freetown doesnt do something fast, they may never get out of Africa AA#4.

Biggest Upset-Carthage over Cairo 42-35 2nd Round Playoffs
Kudos to Carthage. They were down big going into the 4th quarter and they pulled together to score 21 unaswered points and 27 total in the quarter. They have a tough matchup in Nigerian. But I think Nigerian has seen the light and knows this team is capable of anything.

I think it's more disappointing that you can't spell disappointing...or surprising. We have lost over half of our players in the past two seasons, and they were our main contributors on both sides of the ball. Owners all getting their own teams and taking their players off of our roster. Also, it is really hard to recruit when all the free agents think your entire roster is filled with Jayhawk fans...but the name ain't ever changing!
