Here are the current rankings for promotions based on the newly altered criteria...

#1 - #4 (still need to be sorted out)
Lake Erie
Calgary
Vancouver
Tallahassee

#5 - USAORG
#6 - Toronto
#7 - Montreal
#8 - Halifax

Directly above us (BBB #8), Canada A #4, will have 5 teams moving down (2 botton in each conference and one CPU team outside of there). Those 5 get split between BBB #7 and BBB #8, so that moves up 2.5 teams out of BBB #8.

Above that, Canada AA #2 will have 5 teams moving down as well (same story). Those 5 get split between BBB #5-#8, so 1.25 teams will be moving up from BBB #8.

Above that, Canada AAA #1 will have 7 teams moving down (4 bottoms and 3 CPU teams). Those 7 get split between all 16 BBB teams, so 0.44 teams will be moving up from BBB #8.

Above that, Canada Pro will be losing 6 teams (4 + 2). Those 6 also get split between all 16 BBB teams, so 0.38 teams will be moving up from BBB #8.

Add those together, and Canada BBB #8 will be promoting 4.57 teams in the offseason. This means that the 4 teams in the semifinals are gone for sure, and #5 (USAORG) has a roughly 50/50 chance of being promoted as well.

I hope the Eh's stay down so that the Current can smack the hell out of you next season. Next season is when FTC becomes a reality!!!

Just realized this... there is no way to tell how many team owners will sell their teams (i.e. not pay for another season). Those teams will also move down to the BBB leagues when they are purchased by a new owner.

This means there could be a # of other teams that move down that there's no way to calculate right now.

So.....that very well means those teams #5 - #8 very well could be moving up as well, depending on those 4 leagues above us...

32 teams x 4 leagues = 128 teams
23 teams already moving down

105 teams should stay in their leagues.... even if 10% of those owners sell their teams (split evenly between the 4 leagues), that roughly moves another 2 teams up from our league (1.2 + .6 + .12 + .12)... so the cut-off could be very well in the #6 to #7 team in our league. Depends on how many sales there are and in what leagues they are.

Crazy. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up before I found this out.
