Warrior General Games

Just going to call what I see as some good matchups this week and who I think will come out on top.

Eastern Conference
Game of the Week:
The Aggressors visit Footstar Heroes NYC. I believe these two to be the best teams going in the east right now. I think turnovers end up deciding this one and pick The Aggressors in a close one.

Western Conference
Game of the Week:
Vancouver at Nebraska, easy pick. Two heavyweights go head to head early in the season. A really hard one to call, but I'm going to go with Vancouver (and their league-leading 10 sacks coming in) to disrupt the Nebraska passing attack enough to get the W.

Upset of the Week:
Montreal Eh's over the New Orleans Swampdogs. The Swampdogs have played great defense thusfar but their O repeatedly puts them in a hole by not taking care of the ball. I think Montreal could take advantage of this and walk away with a win.

Team most likely to get in the win column this week:
Anchorage. They've got a good shot playing Minnesota, who's only win came against the woeful Paris-ites.

Just over 12 hours to game time. Anyone else with any prognostications?

Well, I get my computer for most of the day at least

I'm hoping that tomorrow is my last day of relaxation before my new duties take priority. If that's the case, then I can hang on every play as it happens, as I'm as psyched about this as any real Sunday game. Seriously, this should be a great game. Even if the score ends up completely lopsided, we know that the next time we meet, we just need to adjust the gameplan accordingly. Both teams are really well matched. Can't wait, guys

Too bad these two teams are in the same division. This would make one hell of a championship game matchup...

I won't do points but I guess I will do some predictions just for fun.

Western Conference only though, records are what they will be assuming my predictions are correct.

Waterloo Wildcats (4-1) vs. Houston Panthers(1-4)
San Jose SHARKS (3-2) vs. Upstate NY Growlers (2-3)
Las Vegas White Tigers (4-1) vs. Chicago Grey Squirrels (2-3)
NY-CA Ground Pounders (5-0) vs. San Diego Slugs (0-6)
New Paris ites (0-5) vs. Kansas City Royal Flush (3-2)
Anchorage Jaguars (0-5) vs. Minnesota Hitmen (2-3)
Nebraska Blackshirts (5-0) vs. Vancouver Terminators (4-1)
Ketchikan Kamper Adventure Rentals (4-1) vs. Kentucky Jaguars (1-4)
