spread O/U is Sea Dragons +100 so... yeah
4. Columbus Crush vs 5. Chernobyl Nuclear Assault
Was almost a classic a few games ago with it being 7 points late in the game. The Crush are probably just slightly better and will win a 10 point game or so.
3. Terlingua Javelinas vs 6 Florida State Warheads
the Javelinas won the earlier encounter but that was forever ago so whatever. Probably chalk wins though.
2. Constantople Romans vs 7. Rome Colossus
Well even the romans couldn't conquer rome the last go around with the colossus taking down a 39-28 contest. Though the colossus did kick a FG with :02 left just to run up the score infuriating the romans to the point where they just might burn rome down in this matchup.
Alpha
1. Transylvania Impalers vs 8. Saratov Swift Sharks
The sharks are usually at their best in the playoffs but their previous encounter was an annhilation so it'll be tough to overcome that gap
4. Berlin Devil Dogs vs 5. The Wheatfield
game of the week in the league. The Wheatfield have struggled mightly as of late and the previous one was one of the games of the year with crazy defensive TDs on both sides. The winner of this game though can still win the conference and it really wouldn't be considered an upset. Still one of these teams being out of the first round of the playoffs is just ridiculous. Will be another hard fought contest like the previous encounter.
2. Woburn Tanners vs 7. Budapest Samurais
First contest was an eleven point victory for the tanners who are looking to build off some nice wins entering the playoffs. The Samurais though are rated 51 and may pose a problem since they did nearly take down the impalers this season as well.
3. Chernobyl Meltdowns vs 6. London Wildcats
London has their hands full with the sometime to be fully boosted Meltdowns and it's rematch of just the last game. London will have make several adjustments especially offensively if they want to pull that upset.
Predictions
Seems like chalk should win all around other than the wheatfield berlin game as I'd put my team as slight favorites on that one. Still the semis in alpha are sure to be insane as I don't think any team in those matchups has much of an edge if any.
