FIGHTING FOR THE LAST SPOT

Athens Devils 8-7-0 (Projected: 8-8)
Dusseldorf Noobs 7-8-0 (Projected: 7-9)

Ok, here's the deal... South Beach vs. Dusseldorf is going to be a huge game. If South Beach wins then they're in. If they lose then they finish tied with Dusseldorf and lose the tie-breaker.
If Athens loses then they're out. If they beat Helsinki they'd need a South Beach loss to make it in. If South Beach wins then Athens loses the tie breaker. So for Athens to get in they need a win and a South Beach loss.
Dusseldorf... they have to win and Athens has to lose. A loss means they're out. So they need a win and an Athens loss, this would put them in a round robin tie with South Beach and Athens, which would be decided by points. Right now Dusseldorf has 515 points, South Beach has 480 points, and Athens has 448.

To recap:
South Beach... win and they're in.
Dusseldorf... win and an Athens loss.
Athens... win and a South Beach loss.

I've said it once, but I'll say it again. I appreciate all the work djmtott. These things are fun to discuss.

If your predictions hold true, then it is looking like a rematch with Berlin is waiting for us in the 1st round of the playoffs.
