Just found a piece of AE with Cut Block and +3 jumping. Would Bort really put a meaningless attribute with an oxymoronic SA? Could it be that Jumping does help you make the quick move? The description of cutblock is the ability to quickly take down an agile, powerful defender, which sounds like a recipe for getting to those insanely fast DEs. I'm thinking of training Jumping up to about 25 to see if it helps my OT make those cut blocks. Has anybody else tried that tack?

Jumping is worthless for blocking, and Bort has stated that before.

post you're results if you don't mind, I'm suspicious that it will help but you never know. Good luck.

I've had times when it LOOKS like I pancaked the opponent, then got 0 pancakes in the box score. I'm assuming that was a cut block.. take the guy to the ground but not a pancake. too lazy to find a replay, but you know what I mean... DE stops moving, but not a pancake

ya and you stop moving as well. you just sit there motionless together for a couple of seconds.
