Yes boys and people on Caps, we had ourselves quite the week with some huge wins quite a change of rankings!

THE CONTENDERS
1. Tulsa Teamsters [+2] 13-1
Big Wins: Island, Webzoners, Wars, WWW.
Key Loss(es): Nevada Fire
Left: Mosquitos, Fire
Projected Playoff Seed: #1 (15-1)
Note: The huge win over Island put them right at the top of the conference. And with some easy games left, they are now in cruise-control to the #1st seed.

2. Island Shaka Brah's [-1] 13-1
Big Wins: Fire, Webzoners, Wars, Pittsburg (E)
Key Loss(es): Tulsa
Left: Voodoo, WWW.
Projected Playoff Seed: #2 (15-1)
Note: Meeting first Voodoo who are fighting to stay at 8th seed, then facing WWW who just beat Webzoners? Tough games.

3. Nevada Fire [-1] 12-2
Big Wins: Tulsa, WWW.
Key Loss(es): Island, Wars.
Left: Chumbags, Webzoners
Projected Playoff Seed: #3 (14-2)
Note: Still having to face Webzoners, the Fire is keeping their flame strong with a W over Toros. Close game in the last week against San Fran.

4. Team MaddenWars.com [+1] 11-3
Big Wins: WWW, Fire.
Key Loss(es): Island, Webzoners,Tulsa.
Left: Warriors, Toros.
Projected Playoff Seed: #4 (13-3)
Note: On paper they are facing a much better competion overall than Webzoners, but I think they will get away with two Ws in the final weeks.

5. San Francisco Webzoners [-1] 11-3
Big Wins: Wars, Voodoo, Warriors
Key Loss(es): Island, Tulsa, WWW
Left: Stunners, Fire.
Projected Playoff Seed: #5 (12-4)
Note: Having the Steeltown bye next week before facing off against the Fire, the Webzoners are battling to get those homegames.

6. Walla Walla Wackers [0] 10-4
Big Wins: Webzoners, Warriors.
Key Loss(es): Wars, Tulsa, Toros, Fire
Left: Rangers, Island.
Projected Playoff Seed: #6 (11-5)
Note: After what should be a quick win over Rangers, they face Island where WWW hopes to bring yet another upset win against one of the big guys, just like they just did to Webzoners.

7. Fremont Warriors [0] 8-6
Big Wins: Voodoo, Toros.
Key Loss(es): WWW, Boston (E]
Left: Wars, Bengals.
Projected Playoff Seed: #7 (9-7)
Note: Warriors vs. Wars will be a great game, but they come out with the loss.

Note: After the upcmong loss to Island, they get an easy win and a playoff spot against Port City.

Projected Playoff Seed: #9 (8-8)
Note: The loss to Voodoo keeps the Toros out of the playoff race this year. W against Bandits and a close call against Wars.

Ahem. I may be biased, but I would not consider this an upset. We've had some tough losses this season.

7 point loss to Nevada. 5 point loss to TMW. 3 point loss to Houston (ok, that one doesn't help my case much). And the Tulsa loss was a hell of a lot closer than the final score indicates.

We've beat these teams before, and we are certainly capable of doing so again. Am I saying we are better than them? Not at all. But to say that we are tying to "upset" the "big boys" is not accurate.

You have a skilled team, and you beat us fair and square, but that was an upset. I congratulate you on it and you deserved it, but I think the Webzoners win that game 3 out of every 4 times with the AI that we set in that game.

You're entitled to believe that, but I disagree. I think it would be a coin flip just about every time, with sim randomness deciding quite a bit as we both have good talent and solid game planning.

We have four losses this season, yes. One of which was a total blunder, and we have no one to blame but ourselves. However, three of those losses were by 7 or less.

So, I don't think you have the evidence to show that you can beat us 75% of the time. If you'd like to table that evidence, I'd be glad to retract my disagreement.

Do you have a crystal ball or something? Well, it's broken. So trade it in for a calculator, because the game would have been tied.

But, if you want to play hypotheticals. Had we not been screwed by the missed PAT glitch, that timeout wouldn't have mattered, and we would have still won by 1.

I'm not sure if you understand that "they don't win" doesn't mean a loss -- it means it would have been a tie. Do you understand that?

Beyond this, you missed an extra point because your kicker for whatever reason sucked. Not a game glitch, but because your team decided to suck right then.

There is a difference.

Reported, but who knows if they will do anything. It appears other teams have had this happen as well, but not in as clearly cut of a case.
