Does that sneak us into the playoffs this year?

Looking at the remaining schedule of the teams ahead of you, probably not. The obstacles that you have to overcome are...
Teabaggers and Berserk have the head to head tie-breaker over you, so you have to have a better record then them. You have the head to head over the Maulers and have yet to play the Mist.
The Teabaggers and the Mist have at least one win on their remaining schedule... The Berserk and the Maulers play one another, so one of them will have at least 9 wins.
Overall, you haven't been mathematically eliminated, but it doesn't look promising either.

That is true, but I would think Anchorage wins at least one of their final 3. Although, it is plausible that they could lose all 3.

Hopefully we can get rid of that possibility tomorrow, we can beat all three teams we have yet to face, we can lose to all three, depends entirely on the sim and whether our new playbooks kick in successfully.

How many new playbooks do you people have TtD? The sim hasn't really changed from last season. He's made the new plays and some new secondary pressure options but other than that I think we're both struggling compared to last season because it's a much tougher league. These people actually CARE. They have talented players and smart coordinators just like we do and that's why we can't blow past everyone. I will admit I would've been quite upset if we could've used the same exact strategy for every team like we did last season.
ps. How long does mono usually last?

I usually throw up new playbooks after each offseason mass change of settings, this year it was the new offensive AI I worked on heavily, and I set up a few new D plays for specific teams and offences that I can switch in when needed. By about the Buffalo and Omaha games I had two defensive pass coverage schemes I liked enough to use regularly, with adjustments for the speed of WRs to the coverage distances. They weren't perfect, but we were giving up 100yds less a game than last season. Then Bort brought in this semi-agressive stuff a few games ago, with a built in fault with using medium-semiagressive against long passes, which is pretty much where i'd like to be able to use the setting with our CBs and system, thus I had to redo the defensive schemes a fair bit this weekend to work around this bug Bort introduced.
While I was at it and as I had the weekend off, I also scouted out every offensive game this season from every team in the league and cannibalised some nice looking offensive plays for our offence .
As of now, I have 5 drafted offences, and 2 drafted defensive AIs to try out if I get the chance and the changes don't work out enough. Our D was never our strong point, it's just not as weak as it's been the last two games.
Not exactly an easy test game today either, San Diego have a pretty hefty AI with a lot of plays to deal with, and a lot of between quarter variations in the offence. There's no way to gameplan fully for their AI so it's a matter of guesswork and hope you hit enough key plays to slow them down.

The AI is the playing schemes you can set up as an OC or DC to run your offence or defence. It's basically the plan, play type by play type for your game.

that's the key. this conference is TOUGH. last season in BBB, i'd say there were a half-dozen teams that really gave a damn. i'm not there's a human team in this league that isn't trying to win every game,

yeah, if we could pull an upset i'd feel a lot better, but the grand haven game is HUGE either way.
i thought we wanted to stay in BBB13 and win the league, but i actually think being more competitve and having close games week in week out is more fun.
8-8 would be a great season for us.

Great, way to boost his ego. We were trying to prevent that!
Quick, say something to make him feel unimportant to fix what you've done.
