The season is rapidly drawing to a close and the fight for 5-9 is getting hot. Game of the week worthy of the title for week 13. Doom and Monkeys battled it out, Doom takes lead with 1:44 left. Monkeys hurry down the field and put up a field goal with 22 seconds left for the win. Also of interest, Pirates give a fair accounting of themselves in the Ava-Pirate game.
Week 14:
CCC vs Oslo. CCC is close to mid-30s in level while Oslo is closer to mid-20s. Olso seems to have issues against better teams as well. CCC wins.
BOR vs Monkeys. Potentially a good game, but Monkeys somewhat outleveled here. Monkeys still shaking a little after week 13 game have some trouble containing BOR. BOR wins.
Ava vs Zurich. Although Zurich is incredibly lucky, against fairly evenly matched human teams, they haven't fared well. Ava wins.
Doom vs Easy. Doom still mad about losing such a close game last week, can't do anything right...nah, just kidding, they demolish Easy. Doom wins.
Bastards vs Trawlers. Bastard's easier part of their schedule ends with the Trawlers. Bastards win.
Pirates vs Cards. This game is rather tough to predict. The pirates are a uniform team that are doing decent enough this season. The cards have a mix of levels and an interesting approach to filling their roster. Can the higher level guys on the cards compensate for other issues? Pirates win.
B-dogs vs FHP. B-dogs have had some issues this season, but this week they get to push around FHP instead of the blocking sled. B-dogs win.
Huskies vs Dallas. While this game won't change any of the playoff standings, it should be one of the better games to watch this week. The Huskies have a very slight edge in levels, especially on offense, so I think the Huskies will win, just because they will probably outscore Dallas. Huskies win.
Game of the week: Should be several good games this week but I'm going with Huskies vs Dallas as most exciting.
