One would know about being upset being a Viking fan......Jan 2000 NYG vs MV 41-0.....

I didn't expect them to win that game, the blowout was painful though.

Upset was in 98 vs Atlanta.

I was there in 2000....It was great watching Moss & Carter get nothing...Just wish we could have finished the season with a championship.....I went down to the Tampa Superbowl.......Ravens kicked our a$$es........

You will shut your mouth...we don't talk about the 41 - donut game in these parts. The beauty is that we have owned Elisha and the rest of the teams the last few regular seasons...even with something called Tarvaris Jackson playing QB.

That was pretty ugly. It was back in the day when I actually liked the Vikings. And I had to watch that boring Superbowl where Denver pounded Atlanta, yawn.

viking are the king of choking, and always will be, until they win a superbowl. I'm a vikings fan from way back. John Randle, Joey Browner, Robert Smith, Chris Carter, Anthony Carter, Randal McDaniel. that's the era I was a vikings fan. Peterson is good, great in fact, and with Hutch in front he'll do well. As long as they keep jackson on the bench. I just dont have the fire in my veins for them that I once did.

I hated it when the giants stomped them flat in 2000, and cheered when the giants got thumped.

giants look good now, though, and even though they are missin Strahan (hated him in 2000, loved him in 2007), they look really good for the rest of the season. They also dont got A holes on their team, and they can beat the cowboys. maybe I'll switch teams. anything's better than the vikings or cowboys, right now.

That was right about the time I stopped liking them...about the time they started giving titles away to Dallas with that ridiculous Herschel Walker trade.

I go a little bit further back though...Fran Tarkenton, Chuck Foreman, Sammie White, Ahmad Rashad, the Purple Eaters...
