After beginning the season with two straight wins, the San Jose Chupacabra dropped their second consecutive game to even their record at 2-2. The Over the Rhine Red Dots beat San Jose 20-7 in a contest earlier today.

With both of the Rhine running backs almost hitting the hundred yard mark, Rhine kept the San Jose defence on the field and wore them down with a steady attack. Although the San Jose defence battled hard, they wore down throughout the game as the Rhine defence played perhaps their best game of the season, limiting the Chupacabra offense to just 180 total yards.

“They came out fired up, man. I’ll give them due credit,” said an unusually subdued Demetrius McQueen, “We fought hard but they fought harder. They definitely didn’t look like an 0 and 3 team.”

“We need to get our fire back,” said the San Jose quarterback, Remo Rankin, “We’ve lost two in a row and we need to refocus and get ready for our next one.”

The Chupacabra next face the Oklahoma Thunder next week back at home.

When asked for a prediction for the next game, McQueen refused, instead flexing one of his massive arms and stating, “No words this week. Coach Rawburst says you media suckas don;t get nuthin' this week. But this right here will do doin’ my talkin’ for me me next week, fool.”
