Zeta Conference

1: Tilburg Lightning – What a season they have had, they are dominating teams left and right. They are an easy top favorite for the Zeta championship. (Preseason Ranking: 1a)

2: Helsinki Crabs – Always a top team and had a win in the playoffs last season. They will be big in the playoffs this season also. (Preseason Ranking: 4)

3: Mannheim Jaguars – Could play a big part in the playoffs. If they can get consistent this team could also make a big splash in the playoffs. (Preseason Ranking: 1b)

4: Denmark Destruction – One of the scary teams in the league with some great offensive talent. They just need to find away to get over that hump. (Preseason Ranking: 3)

5: EASTWICK SAVAGES – Have really improved this season, but I don’t think they have what it takes to get to the championship. Next season could be very dangerous. (Preseason Ranking: 5)

6: London Pounds – This team had a great win beating undefeated Mannheim a few games back. They’ve really came a long way and I really respect this team, even before they beat Mannheim. (Preseason Ranking: 6)

7: Portuguese Men-of-War – They’ve had a great season in my opinion. Have came a long way since the beginning and I think they’ll be a top team next season, just a one and done this season. (Preseason Ranking: 8)

8: Siena IL PALIO – The win against Denmark has given them the #8 seed in the playoffs. I think they are getting it together now, and could be dangerous next season. Sandman has been great in the forums. (Preseason Ranking: 9)

Round 1:

Tilburg Lightning vs Siena IL Palio: Tilburg dominates Siena in their first playoff bid. Tilburg wins 73-14

Helsinki Crabs vs Portguese Men-of-War: Crabs show that they belong in the playoffs and whip up on the MOW. Helsinki wins 54-21

Mannheim Jaguars vs London Pounds: Mannheim gets some payback for the upset they did on them during the season. Mannheim wins 48-17

Denmark Destruction vs EASTWICK SAVAGES: A great game that comes down to the wire. Denmark wins 45-42

Round 2:

Tilburg Lightning vs Denmark Destruction: Tilburg shows why they are the top favorite. Tilburg wins 65-24

Helsinki Crabs vs Mannheim Jaguars: Going to be a great game, but Mannheim finds away to give their top RB more than 2 carries. Mannheim wins 28-27

Round 3:

Tilburg Lightning vs Mannheim Jaguars: The Lightning get it done is the same fashion they have for all season. Tilburg wins 48-24

Alpha Conference:

1: Hattgenstein Volunteers – Jay, is again favored to win, but can he do it this season. BCK looks pretty challenging and should provide an interesting game.

2: Black Country Knights – BCK always has been towards the top in rankings since the beginning. This is the only team that has a chance of knocking out the Vols for Alpha Champion.

3: Belfast Defiance – I was very surprised to see this team do as well as it has. The top 2 teams in this league just are too far ahead of anyone else.

4: London Aces – This team has been brought up more and more, but like the Defiance, just not this season.

5: Maranello Enzos – This team has also surprised me a bit, I never heard of them before this season. Not sure if they are new, or just now coming around.

6: Soft Fluffy Pancake Bunnies – The first ever slow-build team for WEA6 will make the playoffs. Great job by them. Teams should be afraid of this team next season. They will be huge.

7: Messina Blazers – Never heard of them before this season, but they look like they are quietly building a great team there. Might be a couple of seasons before they’re at the top though.

8: Jellystone Park Bruins - Well they are ranked #1 in punt returns . Could be a good team in a couple of seasons, just a one and done for this season for sure.

Round 1:

Hattgenstein Volunteers vs Jellystone Park Bruins – The Vols make a statement their first game in the playoffs this season. Vols win 124 – 0

Black Country Knights vs Messina Blazers – BCK brings their #1 defense in to shutout the Blazers and take them out of the playoffs. BCK win 83-0

Belfast Defiance vs Soft Fluffy Pancake Bunnies – The bunnies get slaughtered again by this team. Defiance win, 92-21

London Aces vs Maranello Enzos – My upset for round one is here. The Enzos are on a roll right now and I think they get some revenge on the Aces. Enzos win, 21-17

Round 2:

Hattgenstein Volunteers vs Maranello Enzos – After a great win by the Enzos, the Vols happily bring them back to reality. Vols win, 54-13

Black Country Knights vs Belfast Defiance – Belfast coming off of a big win and has high hopes. The regular season game was close. I think BCK brings too much experience to the table and shows Belfast how it’s done. BCK win, 21-10

Round 3:

Hattgenstein Volunteers vs Black Country Knights – What a game this will be. The Vols coming off of going 16-0 and BCK going 15-1. BCK upsets the Vols in overtime. BCK win, 24-21

CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND:

Tilburg Lightning vs Black Country Knights – Zeta prevails and shows Alpha why they are the best. Tilburg win, 38-24

Maybe I'm trying to piss the Vols off so they get pissed and take it out on BCK? But then again, maybe not.

No flaming here, and not because of the projected winner. That just puts even more pressure on us to get it done.

I commend you on a completely objective review. It's nice to see opinions of some of the guys in here, and would commend you even if you picked us to lose somewhere in the playoffs

Well done.

P.S. Besides, opinions are like ass holes......

I think you're being premature in writing them as the last seed, when they've taken down Portugal and in the last 2 weeks specifically the pair of Eastwick and Denmark.

He was in for 35 plays. I don't mind if today's game scenario is repeated.

I personally don't mind.

GG Jaguars, see you in the 2nd round.

Good predictions too, as usual.

Not an excuse by any means. Helsinki dominated us, we have to find a way to stop your RB. Hopefully we are able to do this in a couple of weeks.

Don't get me wrong. Never said you were making excuses. But it's indeed weird that your starter gets 2 touches.

Eastwick has the better record right now, and I see Eastwick losing one game. I see the same for Siena which would give Eastwick a better record. The #4, 5, 6, 7, 8 seeds are going to be tough to predict right now. I did my best at it. I can see all 5 of these teams having a 1 or 2 game record difference.

Shouldn't you be game planning and fixing this offense instead of posting in the league forum?
