Not saying it wouldn't have been a different game if you would have made those FG's, but it wasn't like they were gimme FG's by any stretch of the imagination. The kicker in question is like what... 60% from 40+ yards, not including those attempts.
Making one of those would have made it a different game, but looking at the pbp, I'd have to assume that if the Monsters are trailing by 1 on their final possesion, they kick in the 23 yarder for a FG to win. Again, though a made FG earlier would have changed the game completely one would imagine and the monsters wouldn't have had that exact possesion to kick in a FG.
