Projected Western Playoff Seeding With projected record (IMHO)

1. Putnam County 16-0
The Tossers appear to have a stong hold on the top spot with a 2 game lead, head to head wins over their two of the teams behind them, and a healthy scoring lead thanks to a favorable "weak" one opponent.
They still have some tough games ahead of them against Vegas, Caprica, and DVD. But of the three, I think only Vegas has the personnel in place to slow down the Tossers rushing attack.

2. Rapid City 14-2
A big head to head win over the Otters gives them the edge here. If they can win their game against Tuscon in 2 weeks the #2 stop should be well in hand.

3. DVD 13-3
A Rough week one matchup and a loss to RRR Keeps them in the 3 spot. Even with a win over putnam and, and a RRR loss to Tuscon, they'll need some help to claim the top spot.

4. Tuscon 11-5
The head to head win over Caprica gets them at least one home game, but their schedule is much harder than Caprica having only one game against a team with a losing record (4-6) left

5. Caprica 11-5
A stumble by Tuscon gets them a home game, and a upset over DVD vaults them to the 3 spot

6. Colorado 10-6
They've survived the roughest part of their schedule and have 6 very winnable games left on their table

7. Las Vegas 10-6
Arguably the team with the most talent in the conference, but doesn't seem to quite have the right game plan in place. With games against DVD and putnam left on their schedule they are in a position to have a significant effect on the top of the standings

8. SNK 9-7
Need a win over Tuscon or Colorado to keep their hopes alive, otherwise San Fran sneaks in due to their head to head win over SNK

Tossers a lock for sure at #1 seed. I'm still pretty worried about our match ups vs Tucson and SNK. Anything can happen in those games.

Solid projections. Lots of different things could happen though. Las Vegas and Tuscon seem unpredictable to me. They'll beat a team fairly easily that I may not expect. Then the next game they get blown out or lose to a team that I think they should have beat.

It's about the matchups. Las Vegas has handled us the past. Them and DVD could easily beat us yet.

I really find this season odd. We beat Vegas and Caprica, but lose big to teams that are worried about Vegas and Caprica...

Oh well.

(and I'm not saying they shouldn't worry about them, just saying how weird a year this is...)

Yea very odd I am confused about those last few seeds could go to any of those teams currently at 5-5. Well only 6 games left and many questions left to be answered...

Yeah this has been an odd season that way. I attribute it to the fact that we're all new here. Seems almost everyone has lost a game they expected to win. But I think we have all underestimated at least one team this season. I know I did. Coming from a league where we only had to game plan hard for like 4 games a season (excluding playoffs), I know its caught me off guard. Combine that with the burnout factor and you have a recipe for upset stew.

I know for me personally, I feel like we coulda/shoulda won all 3 of the games we lost. Not trying to take anything away from the teams that beat us. They won fair and square. But I'm just saying, I think there are a lot of factors that have gone into this odd season.

Amazing - no love at all for the Sharks. Would love to see how you guys figure we're going to roll over and die...

I think its mainly because everyone else is through the meat of their schedule already, while your guys' next 5 games are tough. That and the fact that the toughest team you guys have beat is currently 5-5.

I'm looking forward to our match up with the Sharks. Seeing how All Pro Receiver used to play for the Wolves!
