Lets do a fun top 8 ranking of the west!
1: Island Shaka Brah's! 10-0
10-0, that is TEN-ZIP! Big win over the webzoners by the margin of a FG and the webzoners fell short on the last drive after two close calls on 2nd&3rd down with just over 2 minutes left in the game. They have three fun games ahead of them against Fire, Port City and Voodoo. But the real challenges comes against the hungry Teamsters and the Walla Walla looking for a top 5 playoff seed. I think Island can beat them all, 16-0 BABY!
2. Nevada Fire. 9-1
The loss to Island was a 38-42 loss that came with a late 4th Q TD for Island. But the big win against Teamsters put them in great postion to finish in the 2nd seed. They face 4 playoff bound teams in the last 6 weeks with the Bengals and CC rounding up the season. The week 16 matchup with Webzoners will be epic to say the least. 14-2 with a last week loss to the Webzoners.
3. Tulsa Teamsters. 9-1
The big week 5 loss to the Fire is huge for the Teamsters as they rally against #1 + #4 in the last weeks. Beside these to very rough games, their shedule should be managable. But its these two games that will determian their spot in the playoffs. And its really about picking your poision, want to face off against the undeafeated Island or a Fire/Webzoners team hoping to take on the Island in the conf. finals? 13-3 i dont see them beating either Webzoners nor Island.
4. San Francisco Webzoners. 9-1
They tried, they tried really hard, but fell just short in the epic week 10 West game against Island. Now they face Teamsters, Walla Walla and the Fire to prove that they still got it! With Port City, the CPU team and Voodoo left, they should be able to cruise into the playoffs in top 3. 15-1 I want to go with the fire beating Webzoners in week 16, but i think the Zone will come out on top.
5. Team MaddenWars.com. 7-3
They've lost to three of the 4 top teams and have yet to face off against the Fire. That close 24-27 loss to Webzoners proves to me that this is a great team. I dont see them taking the championship throphy home, but i do see them making it atleast 2 rounds of playoff fun. Beside Fire, the Wars still have Toros and Warriors left in the battle for playoff spots. And they are play 11, 12 and 14 in the last 3 games of the season. 11-5 with loses to Warriors and the Fire.
6. Walla Walla Wackers. 7-3
WWW is a team that have lost to Teamsters, Fire and Wars. They have by far the toughest shedule left with Warriors, Toros, Webzoners and Island left on the board. Plus they are playing the nr. 10 Rangers, who with a bit of luck might be running after that 8th seed. With a lot of challenges lying ahed, the WWW will end up: 11-5 With a close win over the Warriors next week and loses to Zone and Island.
7. Fremont Warriors. 6-4.
Three top teams left in WWW, Fire and Wars. I think the warriors will battle their way forward and do great. I have these guys beating Wars, but Fire and WWW will come out as the winner against Fremont. 10-6
8. Houston Toros. 5-5
This is my team, so cant really say anything. This next week against voodoo will say if Toros hit playoffs or not. And with Fire, Wars and WWW waiting right after, this can prove very hard for the horns. 8-8

N'awlins Voodoo, the next week will determain if they got a shot or not! Plus their matchup against Rangers in week 14 will be huge.
Fort Sam Houston Rangers, have a shot, but is a far strech for this fine team.
