Yellowknife v/s Nova Scotia
This matchup has more meaning this season than in any other since these teams first met. Both teams sit at the top of their conference with unbeaten records. At this point, both teams are pretty much a lock for the playoffs and likely to meet more than once this season but who could have asked for a better build up to this game. Off the field these two teams have not really had much conflict but, on, they have beaten each other to a pulp. While I am biased on who I think will win the game I will give you the history of this matchup.
Season 5: Yellowknife squeezed out a narrow 31-30 victory. A missed PAT in the third quarter was the difference in that closely fought battle.

Season 4: Nova Scotia gave Yellowknife all they could handle and more piling up just over 300 yards on the ground. Yellowknife had little success moving the ball on a much more talented team. Now retired Cannon Brooks threw 4 picks in that game.

Season 3: Nova Scotia raped Yellowknife with a 59-6 stomping. Yellowknife allowed over 400 yards on the ground and managed just over 20 yards against that stout run defense. The poor yellowknife offensive line managed just 1 pancake against Nova Scotia that season.

This matchup now sits at 2-1 for Nova Scotia with this game setting the stage for them to pull out their series lead or let Yellowknife make it an even split. What will happen we will know in less than 24 hours. Until that time check out how close these two teams match up.
