1.Kukamonga Monsters(7-1)- The monsters take the top spot in this weeks polls. They are 7-1 and have won head-to-head against the Hitmen, they were the pre-season favorite, and try to continue their run in the postseason. Their only loss was to the bismarck bears 14-12. Playoff chance= 99%
2. Halifax Hell Reapers (6-2): Even though Halifax sits only in 4th place, they have played much better teams than Lake Erie and Calgary. Their losses are to #1 Kukamonga and #4 Lake Erie. They should make the playoffs. Playoff chance=98%
3. Calgary Hitmen (7-1)- Calgary edges the 3rd spot as their only loss was to the #1 Monsters. they are a very solid team, but havent faced a huge threat yet. There final games will test how good this team really is. PC(playoff chance)-95%
4. Lake Erie Leviathans (7-1)- Lake Erie may be a lower ranking than many of you think, but they have yet to face many great teams and got destroyed by #3 Hitmen. They will walk into the playoffs though with an average schedule. PC=99%
5.Goose Bay Grizzlies (4-4)- A surprising rank for Goose Bay, but haven beaten #6,#8 Montreal Rush and the Bismarck Bears consecutively they move ahead them as they also have had a stronger schedule. They have a good chance at the playoffs, but a slow start could hurt them. PC-70%
6. Bismarck Bears (5-3) Even though Bismarck has lost 2 in a row, they have faced better teams than the Rush. They have a tough schedule coming up, but a few cupcakes could get them in.PC-65%
7.Yellowknife Diamond Cutters (6-2)- Yellowknife is a little low because their competition has been favorable. They face better teams in the second half, but expect them to be in the playoffs. PC-85%
8.Montreal Rush (6-2)- This teams talent has yet to be shown. A loss to the #5 Grizzlies was tough and even though they are 6-2 they have played way too many cupcakes. PC-80%
9. Labatt Blue (3-5)-Despite 3-5 this team has been one of the surpsises of season 6. a slow-build team that has had one of the toughest schedules will have a tough-road to get to the playoffs, but don't be surprised if they do. PC-45%
10. Saskatoon Dream (4-4)- Just a middle-of-the pack team that has flown under the radar this season. But with a brutal schedule coming up, it will be tough for the Dream to be in the postseason. PC-33%
11.Manitoba Warmegeddons (3-5)- Even though they beat the #10 Dream, they have not beat a team with a winning record and a playoff-berth could be a stretch this season. If the defense can't pick it up in the 2nd half it could get ugly for Manitoba. PC-15%
12.Bosphorus Bridgekeepers (3-5)- Not too bad of a record, but all 3 of their wins have come against the worst teams in the league. Barring a miracle, this team will not be in the postseason. PC-3%
13. Toronto Oustanding Pokers.com (2-6)- A team that moved down from Canada A and has done better than most people though, but their only wins are agzinst bad teams. this team has minimal chance at the playoffs. Maybe next year though. PC-1%
14.New England Powertecs (1-7)- They are the best of the worst. Only win coming against Beefcake and been wiped out a lot. No chance at the playoffs. PC- 0.5%
15. Beefcakes Sword of Chaos (0-8)- Basically a toss-up for last place and we will see who truly is the worst team in week 13. They earn the 15th spot because their offense has shown more promise than Regina. PC- below 0%
16. Regina Pocket Rockets(0-8)- Just a bad team. Owned by a french-canadian owner and despite his claims they were a team to watch for, they are just pitiful. The game on week 13 can be compared to this year in the NFL the lions vs. bengals. That game will prove who really is the worst and im going to have to say the Swords of Chaos are going to win this one as their o-line is better than Regina. Shoudl be interesting. Cant wait for this game. PC-below 0%
Tried to my best not to be biased, i think these are pretty accurate i will do these every 3 weeks as this took 30 minutes.
1st half MVP- HB The Bum for Lake Erire, even though he has faced a few cupcakes he still has 57 td's 18 more than the 2nd place man and 2,773 rushing yards
1st half Most Underrated Player- G Lovell Mcnasty for Oshawa Turtles- O-linemen sometimes gets forgotten, but Lovell has led the offense for the Turtles, providing protection and leading the o-line with 256 pancakes.
Best Offense- Tallahassee Seminoles- Best offense because unlike Erie they have played few cupcakes and still have averaged almost 85 points a game.
Best Defense- Calgary Hitmen have only allowed 11 pts a game and have faced some very good teams. They are also 3rd in the league in sacks with 28. This team is very balanced.
Least Valuable Player- Toughest award to give out, but the worst player in the league deserves to get this. QB Eragon Shadeslayer for Beefcake is on a bad team, but 1 TD and 13 INT is pretty atrocious. he has a 26 % completion percentage, has an awful qb rating of 13 and has been sacked 25 times. Tough year for the Swords of chaos
Favorite: Kukamonga Monsters, in 1st place in the stacked Western Conference look to contend for the 2nd annual Moose-Syrup Bowl as their team is very good.
Team to watch for: Does the motto "Fear the Current" ring any bells? Even though this phrase may get annoying at times, Niagara could rightfully say this with some wins. They are a slow-build team and if you underestimate them, they could be sitting in the Moose-Syrup Bowl laughing at those who doubted them. They are 4-4 and should sneak in at anywhere from #5-#8. Beware of the Current!
Team that could have trouble- even though the USAORG Titans are 7-1 they are in a below-average conference and have faced few good teams. A game between them and the Niagara Current in the opening round could be interesting.
So what you guys think, I think it is pretty good and unbiased
