# 1 Eritrea (3-5) - Madagascar (2-6)
Game of the week. Have fun with it guys. This would be the one I would show on prime time Television.

# 2 Gambia (7-1) - Barbary Coast (4-4)
Another game that the Pirates will have to content themselves if they can 'put up a good fight'.

# 3 The Nile (7-1) - Rwanda (3-5)
OK, on one hand, Rwanda is better than the fact they haven't beaten a winning team. On the other, given the team's levels, The Nile game planning / AI is astoundingly good. I'd nominate The Nile for 'coach of the year'.

# 4 North Africa (7-1) - Sting Talk (6-2)
The Reign have zero wins against winning teams (and a loss to a 4-4 team). Bad news, their next 6 games (and 7 of 8) are against winning teams. I think Barbary Coast may get the 8th playoff spot due to their head-to-head with N. Africa.

post script,
West Nile (5-3) - Ivory Coast Dongs (1-7)
Kenya (6-2) - Egypt (1-7)
Gabon (7-1) - Kilimanjaro (0-8)
Ivory Coast Hunters (6-2) - Senegal (0-8)
BTW, IC Hunters would be my other nomination for 'coach / ownership' of the year. I will start a thread for this in the owners forum.

I think Rwanda is getting close to falling into the category of other games that are playing this week. We are going to have to step up and beat somebody.

The Nile is going to be another tough team to do that against. They have taken down teams that we haven't even touched yet. We will have to get every break and maybe pay off the refs as well.

Rwanda was in their games againt North Africa and Barbary Coast. If they could have grabbed one of those, I'd be talking about a three way battle for #8.

North Africa, our biggest rivals, have a very good team, but they have had a cakewalk of a schedule so far. Every team they have beaten that we have played, we have also beaten them. They had a much easier out of conference game as well. I say all that to defend the strength of my team, but at the same time they did hand us our jock when we went head to head.

All whining aside, we hope to pull out a win we shouldn't get and win all the games we should. Maybe a miracle will happen and the #8 seed will try to fall back to where we can reach it.

So then The Nile wants to remain a 'dark horse'....sneaking up on people.

I understand.

For a small fee I will alter my write ups to reflect that you really have no chance. ;>

I guess not. We gave them several goats and a years supply of goat milk. I thought that would get the job done.

GG to you guys as well. You have a very tough team over there. I am pleased though. We played with you guys a better than we did Kenya. We have to get some offensive issues worked out, but we are getting better.

Rwanda stood up well against the Nile.
Eritrea showed some flash, interested to see if that continues week 10.
