After going 8 for 8 last week I have to try again. I think I will go 7 for 8 this week, because whoever I decide for the Toledo/Tauber game will probably be wrong - I have bad luck.

**GAME OF THE WEEK**

Toledo Scarlet Fever(7-1) at Tauber Black Cats(6-2):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

The #3 and #5 team square off here in a big matchup for both teams. If Tauber wins, they thrust themselves into the top 4 teams. If Toledo wins, they virtually cement their spot in the top 3. Toledo brings in their #1 rushing attack with the unstoppable Rufus Hammer. Tauber is not far behind at all with the #2 rushing attack. Overall, Toledo ranks #5 in offense and #10 in defense. Tauber ranks #3 in offense and #4 in defense. This will be a great game and is very hard to pick a winner. I have to go with the upset but I do not have a lot of confidence in this pick.

Key players: Rufus Hammer(RB-Toledo) and Chi Chi Ojika(RB-Tauber). Whoever has the bigger game is the winner.

Prediction: Tauber edges it out, 31-24, thanks to their defense.

==========================================================

Bellingham Goldfish(0-8) at Cologne Vikings(8-0)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Err..the #1 team playing at home against the #16 team. There really isn't even any strategy to discuss here but I would guess Cologne runs more than passes.

Prediction: Cologne 122, Bellingham 0
===========================================================

Reading Football Club(7-1) at Subotica Mighty Dukes(4-4)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A good game here. Reading continues to look impressive riding a 6 game win streak. Subotica is much better than their record shows - 3 of their 4 losses have come to top teams. Subotica is good, no doubt, but the trend continues here because Reading is another top team and Subotica will continue to beat the weaker teams but fall just short of the top teams.

Prediction: Reading 49, Subotica 14
==========================================================

Hamburg Flyers(1-7) at Naples Knights(6-2):
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Naples comes in riding high off a gutsy win over Dusseldorf. Hamburg, well - they've lost 6 straight and things won't get any easier here. Hamburg is supported by level 14 CPU players on defense, though, so they are not a pushover there. The problem is their offense can't score enough to keep up with any teams.

Prediction: Naples wins 59-14.
============================================================

Dusseldorf Demon Knights(5-3) at Murdurapolis Zombies(2-6):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dusseldorf is way better than their record shows. They just finished a very, very tough 3 game stretch and look to rebound here. Dusseldorf brings the #3 passing offense into the Zombies' #29 defense. Not a good idea. The Zombies put up a few points against a weak pass defense, but it's not even close to enough.

Prediction: Dusseldorf wins 72-21.
=================================================================

Barcelona Wildcats(4-4) at SU Spider Pigs(1-7):
-----------------------------------------------------------------

No big surprises here as SU has scored only 10 points in its' last 7 games. They score 7 or less here.

Prediction: Barcelona 90, SU 3.
====================================================================

Ash vs. Team Rocket(4-4) at London Cardinals(4-4):
----------------------------------------------------------------------

An even matchup on paper but London has actual human players and if they game plan accordingly it will be easy. London's #5 passing attack will lead them to the win.

Prediction: London 49, Ash 24.
====================================================================

Windsor Flying Turkeys(3-5) at Cashville Dollar Bills(2-6):
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Another close matchup. Unfortunately Cashville's defense just can't stop anyone while Windsor's can stop a few people.

Prediction: Windsor 42, Cashville 7.

My prediction: Naples 59, Hamburg 14
Actual score: Naples 72, Hamburg 0

My prediction: Cologne 122, Bellingham 0
Actual Score: Cologne 89, Bellingham 7

My prediction: Reading 49, Subotica 14
Actual Score: Reading 94, Subotica 14. Oops, mixed the number up there

My prediction: Barcelona 90, SU 3
Actual Score: Barcelona 98, SU 0

My prediction: London 49, Ash 24
Actual score: Ash 13, London 12

My prediction: Tauber 31, Toledo 24
Actual Score: Toledo 45, Tauber 24(see the first line of my original post)

My prediction: Dusseldorf 72, Murdurapolis 21
Actual score: Dusseldorf 73, Murdurapolis 14

My prediction: Windsor 42, Cashville 7
Actual score: Windsor 54, Cashville 28

Only went 6 of 8 this week. The only game I'm really surprised about was Ash beating London. It looked like a very weird game though - don't see those types of scores very often. My biggest mess-up was predicting Reading to score 49 when they almost scored double that much.

way to almost nail the Dusseldorf. And i would venture to say we had the toughest first half schedule in the conference.
