Yeah, jumping. We know its not just for jumping in the air. Defenders use it for diving tackles and receivers use it for diving catches. Is there any use for offensive linemen? Can't think of any o-line uses unless its cut block. After all, you're just diving at the feet of the d-lineman, hoping to knock him off balance.

this line of thought is buttressed by a piece of SA that just showed up with +3 speed and +1 cut block. ($48,000) can't believe its worth it, but I was wondering if any other o-linemen found jumping to be a useful skill.

I think I remember bort already said jumping does nothing for an o-linemen, at all.

What Bort said was that jumping did not factor into blocking.

No idea if jumping could help out an OL in any other way. I would guess there is a lot an OL could work on before deciding to waste time on jumping.

I think I remember this also.

I was ready to train jumping up to 15-20 or so, but then Bort said this so I have just left it alone.
