Whoooo, its been a couple of wild weeks in the rankings! All sorts of important games going down to clear up and muddy the rankings waters all at the same time.
Gold Standards:
1 - Lone Star - (1) - Same - so good being beaten by a hundred by them probably doesn't affect your ranking at all unless you're going for the top 4.
2 - Flint Tropics - (2) - Same - they'll be looking to show Ballina why they aren't in this category in a couple of weeks.
Silver Standard:
3 - Ballina Big Prawns - (5) - Up 2 - Have now separated themselves from the pack a little, and are looking to move up against the Tropics.
Ready to bite you in the arse if you get cocky:
Its a whole lot of muddy in this area, as each of the contenders has a win over one of the others.
4 - Halifax Hashishim - (3) - Down 1 - thrashing Miramachi earns Halifax the top spot in this grouping. Was Cobden a hiccup, or a sign of things to come?
5 - BC Lumber Co - (4) - Down 1 - so are these guys the team who beat the Prawns, or got beat by Miramachi? Lets try putting them halfway between for the moment.
6 - Cobden Muskrats - (7) - Up 1 - Upset of Halifax was impressive, and put up a solid showing against the Prawns. Will be looking to improve their record in a softer second half schedule.
7 - Miramachi Wizards - (9) - Got a big win against BC, and followed it up by knocking off the Bugles to cement a spot in this tier. With probably the toughest remaining schedule out of these teams however, can they maintain the rage?
w00t! I think we're going to make the playoffs:
8 - Bloodweiser Bugle All-stars - (6) - Down 2 - missed an opportunity to give your pundit some faith in them by losing to Miramachi.
Not quite good enough to scare the Bugles:
9 - Centralia Gill T Doggs - (8) - Down 1 - they hold serve but still drop in the rankings, with Miramachi having had impressive wins in the mean time.
10 - Igliaut Arctic Wolves - (10) - Same - this seems like their spot - they'll probably beat the teams below them, and lose to the teams above them.
11 - Millenium Falcons - (11) - Same - rankings changes require something interesting to happen.
12 - Damage Inc - (13) - Up 1 - the fuckwit douches are still yet to achieve anything of note.
13 - Saquenay Falcons - (12) - Down 1 - don't worry Saquenay, you play Barkmere in two weeks!
The Terrible:
16 (t) - The Crushing Fuamatu-ma'afala's, Barkmere Bulldogs, Jeanland Jeaniacs - please, just disband and sell off the good players you have to the rest of us - its the least you can do. Jeanland is actually a shining example.
