Get it while it's hot! Don't worry Western Conference. If Sully doesn't start doing the predictions regularly, I'll start with those next game. Here we go
Rebels v. DSBC: Are the Brew back? They had a very convincing win against Indy last week. I look for them to show up for this one as well, and absolutely destroy the Rebels. 52-10
Not too far off! Actual 72-3 Brew Crew
NY v. Indy: I'm going to say this again. I don't think that NY really belongs here. They have yet to have a victory over a solid team. They have played average teams up to this point in a very weak conference. NY has had a 3 game winning streak so far this season, and will have a 3 game losing streak after today. 31-17 Indy
38-31 Indy
Miami v. Stoners: Miami has won one solid matchup, and that was a very convincing win over TriCity. Stoners are winners of their last 3, and after today will have won 4 straight. Cinci wins 45-17
Actual: Cinci 35-24
Shelby v. Tri: Tri has a great game to test out tactics here, and see if they can pad some stats. Tri wins this big 105-10
Real close here. Actual: 115-3 Tri
Warbirds v. El Paso: I don't know why the Warbirds are up here. They haven't been able to compete with anybody except for the other doormats of the conference. El Paso is starting off the season pretty well, sitting at 4-2, although could be 5-1 if they hadn't tested tactics vs. Virgina. El Paso wins this one 49-24
Only loss. Actual: Warbirds 30-24
KS v. Stallions: KS is 4-2, playing another doormat of the Eastern Conference in the Stallions. I mean, their 2 wins have come against a CPU team and a team that's not even close to belonging in the West, the Gamblers. What's worse, is that they have lost to some bad teams in the Warbirds, Virginia, and Miami. KS wins this big 56-7.
Actual: 51-34
Virginia v. Cleveland: Cleveland has been the team to beat, and now arrogance is becoming apparent. I would like nothing more than to see an upset, but it won't happen at the hands of Virgina! Virginia better re-tool and do it quickly. Unless they can pull off some upsets, they're looking at a 4-5 game losing streak with the competition they have after today. Cleveland 42-10
Not too far off. Actual: Cleveland 30-9
TN v. DC: I think we can all agree that the Catfish have really turned things around. DC has been a competitive force in the East for the last couple of seasons, and continue to be this season, sitting at 6-0. This will be a good game, but sorry Catfish. I think DC stays undefeated today, although it should be a pretty close game until the 4th. DC wins it 35-24.
Bigger win for DC. Good call Korea. Actual: DC 47-13
So there you have it. You may not like my picks, but oh well! I went 7-1 last week, even with calling an upset. GL to all. Get ready to gear up! Kickoff's in about an hour.
Record for the week, 7-1!
Good games by the winners. Losers, you may want to take a look and see what you can fix!
