Sumatra Sting (5-1) at Alpha Beta's (1-5)

Where in the world is Alpha? The Beta’s need to find a real country to call home. Sting by 21.

Tibet Psychonauts (2-4) at Brutal Deluxe (2-4)

I promised myself that I wouldn’t pick Tibet anymore but even if it’s borderline SE Asia, at least I know where it is. Brutal? I don’t think I want to go there. Tibet by 10.

Subic Bay Admirals (4-2) at Cambodia Mountain Men (6-0)

The Subic Bay traveling team comes aground in Cambodia this week. The Mountain Men help them get back out to sea. Mountain Men by 14.

Salford Storm (3-3) at Jakarta Yellow Devils (5-1)

Salford? Isn’t that in England? The British are coming, the British are coming!!! Storm by 3.

Hell Valley Snow Monkeys (4-2) at Manila Cyberballers (1-5)

Zoo tip #73: Don't stare into a monkey's eyes. Staring signifies hostility and the monkeys feel threatened by this action. Cyberballers fail to heed this tip. Snow Monkeys by 10.

Algeria Addiction (6-0) at Phuket Water Dragons (1-5)

I’ve always wondered how to pronounce Phuket? Does “Phu” sound like “fŭ” in Philippinese? The Addiction think so. Addiction by 35.

Mount Fiji Dogs (0-6) at Pingree Grove Pits (0-6)

And then there will be just one winless Naga team. Pingree Grove, isn’t that in Illinois? I am sick and tired of these non-SE Asia teams!! Dogs by 3.

Singapore J.B. Lions (6-0) at Pontianak Firebirds (3-3)

Ah, two good old SE Asian cities. The Lions are about to find SE Asian a bit more challenging than it has been up to this point. Firebirds by 1.

Garuda

San Fran Gold Rush (6-0) at Hanoi Predators (0-6)

I am going to dock the Rush for not being a SE Asia team. Ok, I did. Still…. Rush by 255.

Arctic Avalanche (3-3) at Kyoto Samurai (1-5)

Come on now? The Arctic in SE Asia? Ridiculous (as is this pick by the way). Samurai by 3.

Tibetan Drunk Monks (2-4) at Palembang Tigers (5-1)

Ok, a matchup with a couple real SE Asia teams. Tibet wins in the nickname category but the Tigers on the field. Tigers by 7.

Midway Maulers (2-4) at Sault Ste Marie Metalheads (6-0)

Blah. Michigan vs. Hawaii. Might be a good bowl game (if either were bowl eligible). Metalheads by 60.

Thung Yai Tigers (2-4) at Shanghai Cheetahs (2-4)

A cat fight!!!! Two SE Asia teams!!! The game of the week!!!! Tigers by 6.

The Pretenders (2-4) at Shanghai Shadow Dragons (3-3)

I googled for the city of “The”. Can’t find it anywhere. This is discouraging. I am going to assume it is some little known SE Asian island. Pretenders by 10.

Garut Fire Horses (2-4) at Thailand Cheap Toys (6-0)

The Indonesians have nothing for the Thai boys. Toys by 28.

SBI Waves (0-6) at The Elephant Riders (6-0)

I guess SBI stands for the State Bank of India. Not too bad. But how can that little island of The support two teams? Riders by 255.

Were those picks, or just a rant? lol

This reminded me of a Rollins Band song though. I think I'll have to go listen to that now.

BTW - I knew you couldn't resist picking my Psychonauts. If it makes you feel better, I made significant changes to the AI. Hopefully for the better.

Ouch, a 10-6 week. Congrats to the Fire Horses for knocking off the previously undefeated Toys. And the Admirals almost did it to the Mountain Men.

Yep, great job Fire Horses. Came back to win after being down 20-3 at halftime. The bounces went your way.

It's hard to win when you can't sustain any drives in the second half, and you throw a INT on your own 20 yard line, Fire Horses deserved the win no doubt.

My hat's off to Subic Bay ... that's a really good team, much better than their 4-3 record.

They gave us all we could handle, and we were lucky to come away with a win.

GG Toys and that was a nail-biter. A tale of two halves is what I'm calling it. Good luck to you guys both regular and post season.
