Just to be different, I decided to 2nd cap vision early (right after 3rd capping strength and blocking). 2SP away from doing it. Equipment is mostly in strength; there are still 2 pieces in stamina that haven't been upgraded beyond the level 8 upgrade.

Strength: 88.31 Blocking: 76.3
Speed: 15 Tackling: 14.45
Agility: 21.45 Throwing: 8
Jumping: 8 Catching: 8
Stamina: 26.68 Carrying: 8
Vision: 60.12 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 19.45 Punting: 9

So I'm training speed/agility right now. I figure when I cap agility, I'll move training into speed/stamina. Is speed worth capping, or is that SP better spent elsewhere (line general?)? If I cap speed, then I can transition into stamina/confidence training, so it all works out pretty nicely. But I'm open to suggestions.

Definitely line general after agility

I have never seen a reason to take speed over the cap for a center. You are not going to see a lot of 70+ speed DTs.

Stay the course. You have a good plan. By the time you get points in line general you will have a monster.

But you will see a C be unblocked and need enough SPD to go stick a LB. All the AGL in the world won't get you out to a LB fast enough. Cap the AGL, but get the SPD in the 40s or just cap it eventually. CON is too low. Ideally, you could use the greasemonkey script that lets you pick any two attributes to train and train SPD/CON. While your capping AGL. THen build the LG SA. Line General works well even at low lvls, because it effects the whole line. You would need to spen 11 SP to get it to 4, but if you have CE or get it you could boost it to a 5. I'd say SPD could stay in the mid 30s until these things are done.

I would build AGL to 35 while training SPD/?, and then build SPD to 30. From here either build AGL to soft cap or LG to 4, or some combination of the 2. But do those 2 next. If possible get the scripts and train CON/SPD while doing this. Sell any EQ not in STR and buy new, put all EQ in STR. If you get CE put it in STR and the SA in the passing tree to build the LG. You can also later build the pancake SA. Once you are strong and fast enough it will help you pancake your man and move on to the second level. Often Cs can get out and be lead blockers. Some formations/plays leave them unblocked. With your vision you definitely will find the right person to block. There's something about this somewhere in the "Bort Stalker" thread, about Cs who just stand in and double team when it's not necessary. Like double team to their left when it's a run off the right tackle. Obviously you'd want the C to go directly to the MLB if he's unblocked. Or if he has a man on his left shoulder, you'd want him to push him to the LG and release to the LB. Bort's answer said that the C will do that if he has the SPD/VIS high enough, but also obviously needs the STR/AGL to get off the blocks

I'd rather cap confidence than speed.

What was your justification for 60 vision, and how has it worked for you? I'm slowbuilding a C as well. I'm at a critical juncture (either cap agi or vis next level up)

Haha man it's really hard to say if the vision is helping because he is so sluggish. He's almost always double teaming the NT with the RG, but he pounds the shit of whoever he blocks, which I'd attribute more to his major attributes. The NT in my last game was pretty agile and kept almost bouncing around us (me and the RG double teaming him) but my C seemed to pursue him without hesitation. I haven't watched much blocking game film so I can't really compare him to anything but I'm pretty satisfied with the way I play against similarly leveled players for only having put SP into three attributes and no SAs. I think in the endgame you'll want vision 2nd capped, but it's not a priority unless you want to 2nd cap it ASAP and then leave it for natural level gains.

when you start building up agl and speed you'll notice the vision, because you'll get out and lead block sometimes.
