Courtesy of the Alberta Press:

The Alberta Irukandji can now officially move on as the interim tag has been removed on Timotheus Hicks and he is now the current and future offensive coordinator. Hicks has been a great motivator for the team in the past and hopes to continue that effort, "I think I bring a lot of passion to the game. I hope it rubs off on the players." Team owner Lehi explained his reasoning for the deciison, "We felt he was a leader. He's the kind of guy people like to be around and he's a smart guy. He'll bring us to the promised land."
It seems to me like Alberta has made an excellent coaching decision. Quzur's attempts at controlling the offense were worse than the Chilliwack Carebear's attempts of fielding a competitive team. Time to turn the page. Congratulations to Hicks and best of luck to him in this new venture!

Poll of the day: What do our readers think of this move?

In the long term it might help, but changing your offensive or Defensive coordinator at this point of the season can only lead to low morale in the locker room. And erectile disfunction in the PC who was dumped.
