I've done deathpools in teams I've played for, where everyone has to pick the winner of one game in the NFL in a week, and if you get that one right, you move onto the next week. Simple enough.
What say we get something like that started for OPRO games?
Now, part of the problem I see with this is that all you have to do is find a gutted team and pick the team playing them to win each week. So I would suggest the following rules for a deathpool:
* Each "week", you pick one team to **lose**. If the team you pick loses, you are eligible to pick next "week". But once you pick a team to lose, you cannot pick them for the rest of the contest.
* We post a list of gutted teams who are off the menu for selections.
Just a little something to pass the time, as well as helping teams in one conference get a little more familiar with teams in the other conference.
Now for the pissy part: I'm too lazy to organize and track it. So if someone decides they like the idea, they can take it and run with it. In fact, they can even say it's their idea. I'll delete this post and then publicly bask in the amazingness of their suggestion.
