# 1 Gambia (4-0) - Sting Talk (3-1)
Unless Sting Talk finds their inner Hulk, I'm picking Gambia to take this big game. Pick : Gambia

# 2 Gabon (4-0) - West Nile (3-1)
Maybe West Nile was taking the Denial for granted last week. Might Gabon make the same mistake? Pick : Gabon

# 3 Ivory Coast Hunters (3-1) - The Nile (3-1)
The Hunters didn't do as well as I thought last week. The Nile did better than I thought. This is up for grabs, who's going to bring more to the field this time? Pick : ?
EDIT: Didn't realize these guys had playoff history vs. each other. Too bad Bort hasn't put in the 'team rivalry' factor (yet?)!

# 4 Barbary Coast (3-1) - Egyptian Gods (0-4)
Another New Kids on the Block matchup. Chamberlin outlevels the secondary he's throwing against, but is he built as well as they are? I'm picking the Gods to have a good shot at this, they have a hungry look in their eye.

# 5 Kenya (2-2) - Madagascar (2-2)
The Madagascar team looks better every time I look at them but I don't think they can handle Kenya's talent.

# 6 Eritrea (2-2) - Ivory Coast Dongs (0-4)
The Dongs Wayton at HB and Fishtiks in the secondary make this team better than the 0-4 appears. Pick : Eritrea

# 7 North Africa (3-1) - Senegal River (0-4)
The Reign are looking to solidify their playoff contention. They still have a lot of tough games later.

# 8 Rwanda (1-3) - Kilimanjaro (0-4)
To grab a 7 or 8 playoff spot, Rwanda is going to have to win the ones they are supposed to (like this one), and win a couple upsets too. That Barbary Coast loss might haunt them later.

I'm wondering what we (BCP) did to you, that you pick against us every game.

I would pick the Pirates. I know Gott always has a good gameplan. Even back in the days of what, season 2 when the Golden State Gorrillas were in USA #2.

we will find innerhulk. Good luck Gambia

Yeah, the Gorillas were in USA A2 in season 2. Which team were you on?

haha
I don't even conciously pick on you this way. Just the way things fell. Last thing I want to do is inspire someone against my team!

I might have a slight favor to the established AA2 teams, but the Pirates winning can't be ignored!

edit: I know a few teams prefer to be the underdog. Sneak up on the opponent that way.

I actually didn't pick the Gods to win outright. But I do think they have a chance, which is a slight upset right there in a way I guess.

also: fixed 'Gorillas to 'pirates'

Gorillas are my team. Barbary Coast Pirates are the team here that I run.

And don't get me wrong. I don't have a problem with your picks. It was a question asked in jest. I just hope we can continue proving you wrong.

Well no-one doesn't want to look worse than before, right ?
I have no doubt Kenya is standing strong against us.

# 3 Ivory Coast Hunters (3-1) - The Nile (3-1)

Conference game last season -
http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=209263

Whose lost players, whose gained players or....whose players are becoming more 'rounded' after their slow build history ?

Gabon has always respected WNV. We were lucky last season to play them early in the season and expect a very tough game this season.

Ivory brought in some ringers. We are the same squad. Plus they probably boosted already. Will be a hard game.

Barbary Coast deserves a lot of respect. They have a very strong team. We hope to get another shot at them to redeem ourselves.

I think Rwanda will step up and win this week. It will be tough not to look past this game to next week when we face our nemesis from Africa A4, the North African Reign.
