Warrior General Games

In week 5 we are down to 5 undefeateds. Pretenders Bodoin and Tuscon get knocked out leaving in no particular order:

Putnam
Rapid City
New Brunswick
Detroit
New Hampshire

Detroit gets a nice test with Indy, who just got handled by New Hampshire.

NBSK faces 3-1 Bodoin. Should be a contest on paper.

Rapic City faces a decent Las Vegas team.

NHH and Putnam have easy games (no offense).

Other teams of note: In the West, DVD, Sharks, and Tuscon all have losses only to the top teams. In the East, Destin, Montana, Rhode Island, and Indy seem to be the next tier.

What does it all mean?

Predictions? Games of note?

True enough.

Putnam is going against my old team, the florida free ballers. They have done a decent job getting that team back up but they are obviously not as strong as when I owned them but props to getting a whole team that fast. Turn it around free ballers...that franchise has never missed the playoffs!

NBSK should handle the Polar Bears. They're not a bad team at all, but I don't think they're up to New Brunswick. I'm not sure anyone is here with any consistency though.

We had some luck with Indy in winning the turnover battle. Their game with Detroit becomes a huge one for them now, and should give a lot of teams some scouting material. Might be game of the week.

I give Rapid City a small edge, but that ought to be a great game. Might just be BBB 15 bias on my side.

I'm not counting RI out yet due to one loss to NBSK. They positively killed us last season, and were one of the only two teams to do so. We're already starting to work on scouting that one.

Well I aprreciate that you think we are that good LoL. Hmmmm time to use some of my other gameplans....

Our D stepped up and had a killer game against you guys last season. Afraid to say that I've not been able to lock it down as well as we did last season. Hopefully, I can come up with something to pull out a win against you guys again....

Gwenn is very complimentary toward us. But looking at the rosters of Detroit, Putnan, and even NHH, we are all pretty close IMHO. We might have the highest level roster top to bottom, with no holes, but we aren't so far off that a favorable SIM or good game planning couldn't sink us.

I'm complementary because you've earned it. We've beaten you a total of once, by a field goal. You've slaughtered us every other time we've played, and I expect that would be the result 80% of the time - until I'm proven wrong.

I agree that its possible NBSK could be upset. I hope we can pull it off again, but right now my attention is on RI, and watching how the matchups between the other top tier teams go.

Crazy, first the the Grizzlies have entered any serious talk at all, we are finaly starting to come around as a A team!

You guys came pretty close to making the playoffs last season, and, with a couple key wins, could well be right there this season. You're definitely in sight of competing here.

Yeah. Hard to believe my preferred means of making a living was beating people up, huh?

Besides, I'm not nice to /everyone/, note the whole WCBW Vikings issues. I think Hitler falls below that somewhere, and I'm pretty sure he'd have made a terrible cornerback.
