I'll throw my hat into the ring as well. In the past, I've always done the West exclusively so I will continue to do that. I also include scores with my predictions. We'll see how accurate I am given all the changes to the game over the past few seasons... Makes it difficult when you've got uncompetitive games that will be triple digit blowouts to accurately predict the score except to say "A lot to zero". That said, here you go!
Fort Richardson Redskins (4-0) vs. College Station Aggies (1-3)
The Aggies aren't even making games competitive. Not much to predict here, as this is a "name your score game". The Aggies should've definitely swapped with a BBB 5 or 6 team, because they have no business even being in this league.
Prediction: Fort Richardson 173, College Station 17
Panthers Syndicate (3-1) vs. Omaha BA Mofo's (3-1)
The Syndicate and Mofo's look to be part of a very solid matchup. The key matchup to watch here appears to be the Mofo's rushing attack going up against what appears to be an exploitable Syndicate rush defense. In all, this looks to be the game of the week in the West.
Prediction: Omaha 33, Panthers 28
Gotham City Punishers (2-2) vs. Coruscant Death Stars (3-1)
Another solid matchup, the Punishers and Death Stars meet up in the revival of an old BBB 6 rivalry. Gotham last beat Coruscant 43-24 on their way to promotion two seasons ago. However, Coruscant has revenge on their minds, and the Punishers will need to show that they can handle a ferocious pass rush that is even better than the one they just faced.
Prediction: Coruscant 38, Gotham City 34
Las Vegas Aces (2-2) vs. Minnesota Lumberjacks (3-1)
The game between the Aces and Lumberjacks provides yet another great match between solid teams. The Aces will try to take advantage of Minnesota's pass defense and neutralize their pass rush, while the Lumberjacks look to carry the momentum of a huge comeback against Gotham City into a tough matchup.
Prediction: LV Aces 41, Minnesota 31
Sacramento SS Psychos (1-3) vs. Birmingham Beavers (4-0)
The Psychos appear to have fallen a long way from their spectacular first season in the BBB 6. Birmingham, meanwhile, is firing on all cylinders. There isn't much excitement to this one except a question as to the final score.
Prediction: Birmingham 79, Sacramento 6
Las Vegas Gamblers (0-4) vs. Portland Aftershocks (2-2)
The Gamblers aren't good enough to be in this league. They should have swapped out with a BBB 5 or 6 team, because they're getting their asses handed to them on a regular basis. Look for more of the same here in an uncompetitive embarrassment of a blowout.
Prediction: Portland 240, LV Gamblers 0
Heavenly Angels (0-4) vs. Jersey Shore Hammerheads (1-3)
See a couple of the above mentioned games. The Angels are yet another team that probably shouldn't even be in this league, and should've swapped with a BBB team. This game may not be as big of a blowout as some of the other matchups, but don't expect Heavenly to have a prayer's chance in this one.
Prediction: Jersey Shore 87, Heavenly 0
South Bend Red Raiders (0-4) vs. Austin Orangebloods (3-1)
South Bend is yet another team that doesn't belong in this league. Underleveled and outmatched, they should have been swapped out for a team that would actually make games competitive, you know... As in not getting blown out by triple digits. Easy win for Austin.
