These weeks big movers: Bay Area Bastards jumps 8 spots, Seattle Reign jumps 5 spots, Las Vegas Heat and Oregon Ducks each jump 3 spots.

The weeks big drops: Space Coast Storm Surge and Miami Sharks both fall 6 spots, and Bristol Bullets falls 3 spots.

How are the French Lick Dirty Whorns above TCC's Wax-Bustin Warriors? We just killed them. Don't wanna sound rude but what is the point of this if when you beat a team you do not move ahead of them?

Don't worry about sounding rude I checked to see when I saw that as well, I am just inputing the data...I guess by playing you guys it helped with their strength of record and quality of play. And like jwman92 said, it is still early it will pan itself out.

I guess strength of schedule factors more heavily than quality of play.

I just realized this, but the spreadshjeet you are using, where did you get it from again?

over in the BBB#10 we were using one for a while that turned out to be broken.



Also you'd think playing the current #2 on the rankings would GREATLY improve oujr strength of schedule, makes no sense to me, a loss is a loss, all becaus e it was against a good team doesn't mean you should still be above that good team.

seems to me this spreadsheet is borked on a basic level.

I mean I know things play out, but for a spreadsheet to not recognize that team a = better record + beating team B, that team B should be the higher ranked team.


I'm guessing it is a 'spread' based spread sheet, there are much easier forms of power rankings, power rankings that take time to get right look like the ones in our Leagues main page, where as this is just...

I mean we are 25% of the way through the season, if you are counting a bag full of 16 apple and so far out of four that you have pulled, 3 came out red and one came out yellow, how can you say 'well this bag must be mainly yellows'

I think us Buckeyes should be down around the mid 20's...................We are wayyy over rated.........those top guys are monsters.....were just glad to be here.

I realize your frustration with it. I just volunteered myself because somebody wanted to see it. I am in the process now of getting a hold of the Power Rankings used last year in BBB #2. As soon as I get the script I will post the new rankings.
Until then just enjoy these as the good fodder that it is. Good or Bad.

awesome! out of all the different rankings ive seen, those were the most accurate to how i viewed the teams.

That's kind of funny, given Austin's position. We're planning on a home playoff game despite what these #s say.

Somehow we won by 290+ points and our quality of play dropped from -55 to -64. Does that mean we were projected to win by 300+ points last week ?

Anyway... I know.... this data's probably not supposed to be used like this until 8 games in so that things can be accurately judged. I'll admit it's impossible to judge a team that's played teams with a combined total record of 1-15. (even if the point differential is more than +500).

how is getting the old bbb2 rankings from last year funny?

i think you misread what i wrote. at any rate, i think its obvious to everyone that youre at worst a 3 seed, and in all likelihood a 1 seed in the west barring some unforeseen meltdown. im suprised you feel the need to justify anything as far as rankings go, i know we dont, and havent for a couple of seasons.

For someone to say that these rankings is how you view the teams means to me that you view us as a borderline playoff team. They're your words.

Not trying to justify anything... the games justify everything, but just a curious statement.

Anyway, I was more curious about how the spreadsheet worked than anything else.
