I'm the LOT in both plays.

Should the LOT recognized and passed the RDE to the LG and taken the LB?

Should the LOT have engaged the NT as he came through (as conventional blocking says take the guy closest to the inside).

I doubt I could blame the LOT on the first play, or second play.
Of course, the C should've kept his block on the NT.

It was pretty much good play/call by the defense on both plays. If anyone is at fault, it'd be the OC for not helping pick-up the blitz with extra protection... although, that'd be a bit much to foresee the future and counter a good call by the defense.

You cannot be expected to block two defenders.
