1. LOL (6)
2. TLGoT
3. SL Stallions
4. Angola Blood Diamonds
5. Babylon Bombshells
SA Ridgebacks
7. Cairo Emperors
8. Cape Verde Kings
9. Somalia Wasps
10. Windhoek White Rhinos

12 teams received nominations this week with CDS and Djibouti both getting votes but not making the final list.

LOL once again gets 100% of the first place votes and TLGoT with 100% of the second place votes.

There was a tie for 5th place between the Bombshells and the Ridgebacks.

The CV Kings made the top 10 for the first time following their win over The Wasps. Djibouti was bumped off the list after their loss to The Nightmares.

New poll opens after the games tomorrow. Thanks for everyone who voted, but I hope more participate as the season progresses.

Can teams vote for their own team? It would mean more if you couldnt.

Yes, since only 6 votes if a guy votes for his team it will sway it quite a bit, if 6 entrants, then only get 5 votes.

So instead, we can have a participation penalty!

I dont think you can invent a plausible scenario where a team on that poll moved themselves up more than one spot. The solution for accuracy is not to have more teams participate in the voting.

For instance when you have a coaches poll in a conf, you dont vote for your own team. If only 6 teams vote, if one votes for itself, it can really make a diff that is all I say. But it does work both ways...

Agreed, but I maintain that it would make a big difference if you dont allow a team to vote. Since #1 and #2 arent in question take SL Stallions for instance. If they voted in the poll and could not vote for their own team they'd have less possible points. If Angola BD and Babylon both did not participate in the poll, they'd almost certainly pass SL by virtue of having more possible points to achieve. I can tell you that on my own poll, one team I voted for is 3 spots lower than where I ranked them. That's the largest error and it's not my own team and it's a team I can honestly say I have no strong feelings towards or against. Since there is only 6, I doubt that a lot of other people can say radically different things meaning we're all doing a reasonably good job of being unbiased.

The real solution here though is to just have every team vote, so make sure Angola BD is sending one in!

Fight Club became a joke and TMW has no chemistry. That along with the Outlaws only have one win (against CDS), that's why you arent top 10 right now. Dont get me wrong though, I've been freaking out ever since I saw CDS was moved into the same conference as Cape Verde. Aside from an end of the season eliminated from the playoffs scrimmage that I doubt either side gameplanned at all for, you guys have pretty much owned us.
