Some very interesing games on tap for week 4. With some of the teams starting to shape up, this week will give more separation and further identify contenders and pretenders.
Game of the week #1.....Who are these guys?
Osaka vs. USGD
I am really interested in this game, not to see Osaka, but to see how USGD does against top competition. Being a mostly 1 person team, USGD poses some interesting questions. They are a little underleveled, but we know that builds mean more than levels, so I am hoping to get some insight on them in this game. USGD took care of business they were supposed to, but now.....we will see. Me, I don't think they can handle Osaka. Buckeys win this one, pretty easily I think.
Game of the Week #2.....Old School Oceania AA#3
SAFS vs. Vanuatu
The SAFS haven't been tested yet this season, that ends this week. I have learned never to underestimate the SAFS and won't this game. This matches up 2 original members of our fine conference and I think this game will be very close. Chillocothe put some points up on the Volcano last week and lost a heartbreaker, but the SAFS won't be able to duplicate the Convicts offensive effort against a good Volcano defense. Vanuatu wins a good game.
Newcastle vs. Tuvalu
Tuvalu took it on the chin last week, in a game I was surprised they lost.....Losing this game won't surprise me. The Mino's stay perfect and move Tuvalu to .500 with a solid win.
Wake Island vs. Sydney
The Destroyers won a big game last week over Tuvalu and made a big step towards a playoff berth with the win. There is no question about their defense this week as they will pound Sydney in an easy win. This will set them up for a nice match against Newcastle next week. We will see then where they stack up....but this week....no contest.
Chillocothe vs. Gold Coast
This could be an interesting game. The problem is I don't think Gold Coast is going to put enough points up against the Convicts to stay in it for long. The Convicts put up some good offense in a tough loss last week. I think they put this game away early and win going away. This game will surprise me if its that close. I think 3 TD's..maybe more.
Antarctica vs. PENRITH
The Seals have been solid on offense/defense this season so far and should not have many problems with PENRITH. Seals win comfortably. Just not enough yet for the Outlaws as they remain winless.
Tonga vs. Cairns
Cairns hasn't put up much offense so far this year and it won't change against Tonga. Tonga will win this one going away to move to 2-2. Fire won't be hot this game.
Hattrick vs. Indonesia
Not much to say. Hattrick will beat the gutted Drunk Fu's in a non-game for their first win of the year.
