Kung Fu has dropped it's first three games. In Kung Fu's defense...they had a very tough first three games! Soon to be four games when they visit the Depot to take on the EC Express! Cook Island took care of business as they took advantage of Kung Fu's inability to stop just about anything on defense! Cook Island should beat up on the Amishlong Wrecking Crew next!

Christchurch Nightmare 28 Vs. Sacramento Gunslingers 17
Christchurch got their second W of the season when they took over the second half. The gunslingers had the lead at the half, 17-14, then the wheels kinda fell off and the Gunslingers just couldn't get anything going.

Gold Coast Marauders 69 Vs. RIP 3
the Marauders absolutely dominated the Phoenix in this one. the Phoenix allowed over 650 yards of total offense, and that usually ends badly for teams that do so. Gold Coast is definitely making an early case to be considered favorites to win the Alpha Conference!

New Zealand Knights 38 Vs. Sacramento Skidmarks 34
The Knights edged out the skidmarks in this close contest! this game was very exciting as the fourth quarter brought on 38 points between them. The Knights improve to 2-1 and the Skidmarks drop to 1-2.

EC Express 101 Vs. Kiribati Death Traders 9
EC Express had this game in hand early, as they had 4 returns for touchdowns! The Express tallied 489 yards via special teams returns, and also tallied 432.5 yards of offense besides. The Death traders have dropped to 0-3, while the Express have moved to 3-0.

Guam Devil dogs 150 Vs. Amishlongs Wrecking Crew 0
what can you say, the Devil Dogs dismantled the Wrecking Crew. this game was pretty much over before the opening kickoff...849 yards of total offense for the Devil Dogs. The Wrecking Crew were just completely overmatched in this one....Guam improves to 3-0 and the Wrecking Crew continues their slide to 0-3.

Tasmanian Devils 35 Vs. Adelaide Black Snakes 28
the Tasmanian Devils came from behind to spoil the Snakes day! With 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, the Devils escaped with the victory! Adelaide was able to stay in the game even though they turned the ball over 3 times....which is impressive!

Ino Islanders 38 Vs. Papeete Pirate Pandas 35
In another exciting game, The Islanders prevailed! Ino's offense just was too overpowering for the Pandas. The Pandas have dropped to 0-3 and the Islanders are now 1-2.

there are a few teams that could be in the top 8...this is in no way a slight on you, but it is my stab in the dark since it is too early to get a real good read on how teams will finish the season!

Good write-up as always mmjio. You're right, it just seems like AA#3 lost alot of its pazazz with the restructure. Good to see an Alpha Report again.

thanks! I think we lost a lot of good teams that were promoted! And by good teams I mean active teams...lol

I get tired of seeing ZETA with write-ups all the time.....lol

Our opening schedule is really tough, especially due to the hit our chemistry took during the offseason....

Good game indeed. Would have been a lot closer with our chemistry equal to yours, I'm sure..... It sucks losing...

More people read than respond though mm.

I understand this....but it is frustrating after having such an active forum last season....maybe we got spoiled?

I would really enjoy reading other people's opinions in Alpha too, but no one seems to want to step up to the plate.

If I continue to do this, would you guys...PLEASE...contribute more to the thread?

I am doing this more for the Alpha Conference/forum than for me...

I very much enjoy your post. Thanks for doing them. I will try and contribute more in the future.
