#1 Triple B's 2-0

Had a good game against a tough BBB opponent in Fort McMuray. This week they face a Manitoba team that is scratching their heads after giving up nearly 80 points to the UG. This week should be a better game than vs. FMMP but not enough to stress the TB's. Prediction - TB's by 63.

#2 Unsavory Gentlemen 2-0

The UG hung 75 on a good Manitoba team, many more points than either team expected. This week the UG face the 2-0 North Bay Drift. The drift have proven they can game plan and have the builds to hang with the toughest of the BBB teams but how will they compare with the old A5 teams. Prediction - UG by 56.

#3 Genosha X-Men 2-0

Played a flawless game against the outmatched angel's, defintely not a game that proves anything however. This week they face a CPU controlled Chilliwack team that at least has levels in the form of CPU players. Nothing fancy here, Genosha by a lot. Prediction - Genosha by a ton.

#4 Prince George Warriors 2-0

Have yet to be tested. This week they face an Alberta team which has a chip on their shoulder after being placed at #6 in the previous power rankings. Alberta has had PGW's number in the past, I'm afraid they still do. Prediction - Alberta by 10.

#5 Alberta Irukandji 2-0

Has not faced a tough opponent yet. This week they go up against a PGW team that is looking to move into the upper echelon of A5. Expect a tough game from the start with Alberta winning by a slim margin. Prediction - Alberta by 10.

#6 Manitoba Lions 1-1

The Lions slip all the way to #6 by virtue of the score in the game vs. the UG. This week will not get any better for the Lions. The Triple B's look like the Champions they are and should easily tame the Lions. Prediction - TB's by 63.

#7 Vancouver Vikings 2-0

Backed up their shit talk with an impressive win over the Canada Dragon's. This week they face a hapless Ste. Marie that offers little in the way of competition. Prediction - Vikes by 49.

#8 Rancho Penasquitos Thunderbolts 1-1

Should have dominated North Bay but instead were beaten in one of the best games of week 2. This week will either send them further down the rankings or prove that Saskatchewan isn't quite ready to move into middle tier teams of A5. Prediction - RPT by 7.

#9 Canada Dragons 1-1

After coming off a close loss vs. the Vikings, the Dragons should rebound well against the queen's angels. The Dragons lack levels but the angel's lack everything.. Prediction - Dragons by 105.

#10 Fort McMurray Mounted Police 0-2

Continue to hang out in my top 10 because they have the talent to do so. This week Fort McMurray should rebound after two very tough games to start the season. Prediction - Fort McMurray by 10.

#11 Saskatchewan Thrashers 2-0

After chowing down on cupcakes like a fat kid, the Thrasher's face a tough yet chemistry challenged Rancho team. This game should serve as a predictor for the remainder of the Thrasher's season. Expect the game to be close but the Thrasher's still have work to do. Prediction - Rancho by 7.

#12 North Bay Drift 2-0

Pulled off what I consider to be a great upset vs. Rancho. It was a a quality W even with dreadful overall chemistry of Rancho. This week they face seek to prove themselves against one of A5's best in the UG but have little hope to do so. Expect the UG to run away quickly. Prediction - UG by 56.

#13 F. Hockey Demos 0-2

Destroyed by Alberta, the Demos are seeking to put their first number in the win column, unfortunately it will not be this week. The Demos have the talent but lack the game planning. Prediction - FMMP by 10.

#14 Sault Ste. Marie 0-2

Still no game planning, CPU starters, inactive players, and CPU backups galore, the Ste. Marie are quickly guaranteeing they will remain one of the door mats of A5. This week they face a very tough Viking team that dismantled the BBB #10 Champs, the Canada Dragons. Prediction - Vikes by 49.

#15 the queen's angels 0-2

the queens angels no doubt felt like they were in the 7th level of hell as the X-Men massacred the angels. This week they face a Canada Dragon's team that looks to rebound from a tough loss vs. the Vikes. Expect this game to get out of hand early. Prediction - Canada by 105.

#16 Chilliwack Care Bears 0-2

CPU team that is fodder for everyone.

Great read! Thanks for the time put into doing this. Hopefully the Drift can pull off another upset against a super-tough team.

Thanks for doing these

I'd switch 4 and 5, but its only my opinion and it our teams are very close.

Anyone else notice they changed the game times to an hour later than last season? Just another hour to give me a heart attack worrying I made the right moves.

You know, you could've put Saskatchewan at #1 and made me feel all nice and tingly inside.

I don't necessarily think you guys are better than PGW, I just think you have their number.

I think the UG should be ranked #1 this week by virtue of the quality of our win. Other than that, nice work Trey.

I gotta give Triple B's the nod until someone knocks them off or they have a very weak game.

They play the Lions in game 3, so after tonight we'll know if the Triple B hold on to the #1 spot or not.

I was thinking we might we by 10 exactly as well. Strange similarity in thinking. Not taking anything away from FHockey though, they've got some talent.

Drift at twelfth being 2-0 and FMMP being tenth at 0-2??

The league is not full of parity. The Drift haven't played any real teams yet. A win vs the Carebears (worst team in league, I know you haven't played them yet) is not better than a loss vs Triple B. Quite the contrary, just playing the Triple B and not losing by 100 points means you are a better team than being able to hang 250 on the Carebears.

C'mon we all know that North Bay and FMMP are similar teams from our meetings last season. Neither of us has gone crazy with upgrades so we'll finish close this season. I think both of us can scrap for the 8 seed.
