Can anyone give a breakdown as to what each contibutes to an O-linemen at softcap. Got to decide where to take my OT and Gs now and wondering which would offer me better gains.

Care to actually provide some theory behind the throwaway comment? Why not stamina to soft cap, i've worked all my main stats to where I want them, I planned for settings like this season so I have the agility and speed where I need them now that the game has caught up with common sense. Stamina to softcap would give me stronger play in the later stages of games, vision I guess would help with picking up secondary blocks. I could even work confidence to softcap if it offered a benefit, i'm just hoping someone can give me some decent input on the affects of either stat.

- stamina keeps your guy fresher on the field; he just "keeps his shape" longer
- vision is reaction time; quite important if the opponent to block is moving fast (agility/speed build defensive linemen) and/or your guy needs to figure out who to block very fast (pulling / lead blocking)
- confidence is a bit like stamina, but it doesn't go down by snaps, but by SAs, blocking strong defenders, failing (sacks/hurries), trailing; in-game morale loss = penalty to your other attributes
Oh... and stamina to the softcap is really not a bad choice.

Why don't you leave them both and continue with agility?
If I had to choose between the two though it's be vision, and I'd expect to play on a team with a high rotation of players so the stamina didn't matter too much.

Have agility past the 2nd softcap already, it's really not worth the cost for the little gain it would give, no DE is getting past me atm so more interested in building for the future.

All three have softcapped speed, second softcapped agility/strength/blocking, and I make up the difference against overpowered single stat guys with equipment and the SAs that benefit underpowered linemen, it seems to work.
With the secondary stats, I have vision/confidence/stamina all at the high 30s, low 40s level for the three of them, so it's just a matter of making minor tweaks to improve performance. I'm not really expecting major changes at this stage mid-season as there's just not enough SP to go around.

Nice, based on this I will add heavily to agility.
May I ask - which SAs are working for you? Absorb Pain / Cut Block?

I'm behind on my speed & agility working on that now, but I will say stamina has worked well for me. I'm the backup, and I consistently get more plays per game than either starter, and led the team on pancakes last year, and am this year so far.

For ROT, get low and shock block seem to work well allowing for 1vs1 and freeing the TE to take out a blitzer.
The guards both need a bit more SA work as I pushed their strength higher, so they only have high basic SAs (Pass block/Run block) and i'm planning to give them an extra few points there this season. Not yet happy with the results of the guards as they've slightly underperformed on pass blocking.

What happens when you start facing the good DE's, the ones who build up strength, speed, and agility all passed the 3rd softcap as quickly as they could. These players will always have an advantage over you. You have built the base of your player. Now build for the future by taking strenght, blocking, agility, and speed to the 3rd softcaps so you can handle any DE, not just the poorly built ones.
