Helsinki: Dominated the game against the vikings. They remain my #1

St. Petersburg Red Tide: Beat the panthers 87-14. Stuffed the run but gave up some yards through the air. D scored again for third time this season. They move up to my # 2 spot.

Gutter runners just made a HUGE statement in EEA1 Zeta. They beat up USAORG. The Gutter Runners rushed for over 300 yards and held USAORG to an abysmal 41 yards on 22 carries (1.9 yds a rush). They become my #3.

USAORG: Got embarrassed this week. For details read above statement. They move down to my #4.

Samarkand Wolverines: Demolished another bad team. I want to see them against some REAL competition. They remain my #5. If they had beat someone half way decent I would have given them the #4 spot.

Grid Iron demolished a terrible team. The dynasty never put up a fight. Having a close loss to a great team and a blow out of a bad team they stay at my #6 spot.
Sea Hawks came to play this week and got in the W column. They move up to my #7 spot

Mambas beat my last week # 7 the vampires 38-35. They had a first week blow out loss to the Iron curtain. They move up to my #8 spot.

The odd team out this week is the vampires. The battle for the 7 and 8 seeds in this conference is going to be ugly. Look for it to come down to seahawks, mambas and sealords fighting for the 2 last places in the playoffs.

Dude put Gutter Runners first. Bort has them ranked at a huge number on scouting reports, even though they are lower leveled, they must have builds of the centuty. I vote that Krakow must open up ALL builds immediately or forfeit the rest of the games this year. Only fair. By proxy, Corey, LT, and Meat all vote with me.

Yeah We're pretty happy with our builds but I've a feeling it might not be enough against the Cadeinator and his boys. Time will tell

So how do you guys judge a team's strengths and weaknesses? Looking at green bars for each player?

Your team: Avg Lvl is about 32 or 33 for the starters? 48 on the scouting report
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4146

Gutter Runners: Avg Lvl about 26 or 27? 51 on the scouting report.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4145

My team: Avg lvl of the starter is 23. and a 48 on the scouting report.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4466

My point is this. Lvl doesnt mean everything. Builds mean everything. Dont have to be the "builds of the century" just high on the fundamentals. Sooner everybody figures that out, the better off they will be. I would take a soundly built lvl 23 over any of the lvl 37s on your team anyday of the week. Yes, your team would beat us pretty handily, but when that lvl 23 or 27 (whoever you wanna think about) gets to thier mid 30's it wont matter how high your team is leveled. You will lose everytime.

Yeap, I've been dealing with some higher level LB and O-linemen on other teams that don't have near the build of my players who are 4-7 levels lower then them. Early on a lot of people wasted their pts buying SAs that don't work until your attributes get high enough to activate them. It's better to build the player early and load up on SAs later. Every season you hear of another one that seems to work and some that don't and many pts were wasted on the ones that don't early.

ST Pete is low on the ratings mainly because the ratings require DT and NT but the run a 3-4 and it doesnt register properly dumping them down further then they should be. I made that mistake in season 4 and the aTide beat us. Season 5 we didnt overlook the lack of ratings and we beat them.
