Alright everyone, I know I'm a week late, but hey, I need a vacation sometimes!
Anywho, here is your prediction for the new and improved WEA #7 Season 6 predictions!!!!
16. San Fransisco Mustangs - After going winless last year, this year might be another tough go around. Low levels everywhere, no help from humans. Going to be a long season.
15. San Diego Panthers - The two California teams bringing up the rear of the field. Very few humans, and the ones they have a low levels. They somehow need to get production out of their computer players to win a game.
14. Cartaxo Lethal Vindicator - Slow build team just finding it's home in the league this year. Going to come down to tactics whether they win 0 or 3 games.
13. Off Topic - The team with no city comes into the league trying to get a low level team with some success. They could get a few wins against some of the lower teams, but they will have a tough time competing against top and mid level teams.
12. Oklahoma Yard Dawgz - The former Machine is now the yard dogs, and with the new name and look come new expectations. One of the two Oklahoma teams here in W Europe, people expect these guys to win a few games this season. They have an outside shot at the playoffs, but a lot of things will have to fall their way.
11. Belfast Brawlers - Another team still young in the league, and looking to improve. The only problem is with all the teams around them improving also, Idk if they'll improve too much.
10. Clydesdale Colts - The Colts have defiantly improved, and look to battle for a playoff spot in their 3rd season. New additions everywhere have the chemistry a little low, but if they can recover from that, they'll be right in the playoff hunt.
9. Ithaca Space Munkees - Another team looking to improve. Has made some gains in some areas, and so setbacks in the other. They have lost their QB of two seasons to inactivity, and unless he comes out of it, they will be breaking in a new QB this season. If he can fit in the system, they'll battle for a playoff spot.
8. Belgrade Bulldogs - These are the only new boys on the block who will compete right away. This could be a little low for them if they prove to have a capable coaching staff. Look for them to make the playoffs and maybe surprise a few people.
7. Vatra Dornei Wraiths - A big question of depth on offense is the question for this team. They could battle for a home field game if they can figure that out. Until then this might be a little high for them.
6. Spaniard Warriors - In their second season here, they look to make some noise. A little question of depth on the outside, but with a good O-Line and Running Backs, their running game should keep them in most games.
THE TOP 5 - I think these 5 teams stand above the rest. Talent, depth, coaching, they have what it takes to battle for a title, and anyone of these teams could win a title.
5. Oklahoma Outlaws - Many additions in the offseason, this team looks to push for a title. They need to prove that they can game plan with the best. QB Toy Cannon and RB Lil' Bush look to lead the way and get them a few big wins. Until they can win the big ones consistantly, they will be stuck behind the top 4.
4. Basin City Blues - This is probably a little low for them, as they have a very good offensive line and front seven on defense. The only thing keeping them from being in the top 2 is one huge gaping hole in the secondary. If they can make up for that enough, and replace their lack of CB's with good play up front and from the safety spot, they will battle for a title.
3. Kilkenny Cannibals - An awesome secondary leads the way for the Cannibals, as CB's Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Willie Moronta look to shut down opposing passing games. A slight skill defict up front on defense is the only thing between this team and a title.
Now, I spent 15 minutes trying to decide who to put #1, and I ended up coming down to a very simple answer. One is heads... one is tales...
2. Dublin Drunken Monkeys - The D-Monks dual threat offense is back, with additions on both side of the ball. They lost last years leading sack man to free agency... so they just replace him with the guy who finished second, Brian Paitaroo. If they can overcome a slight chemistry issue, they will be in the conference title game.
1. Transylvania Bloodsuckers - Will this be the year Coker and Co. finally pull out the title? After years of being one of the top teams and not quite making it, they look for this year to be the year. The bulk of the team is back. Their explosive offense, the great secondary, it's all there. Look for the Bloodsuckers to be the favorite to represent Alpha in this years Title game.
